"We need to talk, Lexi," Aziz called and Lexi stopped, pivoting to look at him.

"We don't have anything to talk about, Aziz," she started going up the stairs again but something held her wrist.

She opened her mouth to protest but she was back on the couch she stood up from, with Aziz towering over her.

"We have to talk, Lexi, I have a lot to say to you and I need you to listen."

"What do you want to say, Aziz? Tell me what you have to say, is it how you have a child with that woman and never told me about it, or how she was the first and last woman you are in love with?"

"I don't have any child with her, Lexi!" He snapped.

"What?"

"It was all a setup, the child isn't mine, she lied to break us apart," Aziz ruffled his hair, and stared intently at Lexi. "There was no child, it was all made up."

Lexi huffed and stared back at him. "Was your feeling for her made up too?" She asked and he fell silent. Lexi smiled weakly.

"I thought as much," her voice sounded so weak like she wa
