I don't know why I get up from the bed and walk to the closet. I see him standing there, his back to me and his body tensed. He seemed to notice my entrance because of the way he turned to me, his eyes still wide in surprise.

I had been awakened by the sound of his voice, and when I looked up, what I saw was definitely not what I had imagined to see. The sight before me was ethereal, and I almost thought I had been transported into some kind of dream at first. His entire chest glistened under the dim light of the room; it literally shone, and I could not take my eyes off him.

The towel over his lower region has been replaced by sweatpants. I had never imagined what his body would look like, and those abs staring back at me and the hardness of his hands made me wonder.

"Nirelle, don't come closer," he said, and I stopped. His words were a warning.

"What will happen if I do?" I ask, and he does not smile at my teasing; at least I want to believe that I was teasing him.
