Selene/Camilla's POV

The day came.

The day I believed everything would end and things would fall into their rightful places.

So I had thought, but I was wrong.

I woke up very early that morning, before every other person.

I needed some time alone- the time to celebrate my fast approaching victory and freedom.

Still in my night wear, I walked out of the mansion into the garden, with a glass of champagne held in my hand.

I allowed the cold morning air to seep into my bones, flapping strands of my hair across my face.

I slowly began to move my body- dancing without music as I sip my champagne.

Suddenly, I felt someone wrap his arms around me from behind. I gasped and my body stiffened.

“Who could that be?” I had thought, not until his smell filled my nostrils- the smell of that man I had unexpectedly couldn't do without. Realizing who it was, I displayed a satisfying smile on my face.

His breath fanned my neck, as he whispered into my ear, kissing my neck.
