CHAPTER 32

Three months since Leone.

Three months since she saw him for the last time in that damn conference room, in Milan.

Three months of dragging her feet around, doing the same things day after day, living the lamest life possible. Even the paparazzi cut her some slack, and most of them moved on to the next hot subject: some young popstar’s extremely messy divorce.

So, at this point, Norah was doing okay. Or she thought she was until she gave into Freddie’s suggestion to go out with Hank, one of his buddies from college, now some big shot on Wall Street.

At first, she said no. Norah thought three months was still too early to go out with another man. But when she took a good look at her life, and saw how boring it was, Norah asked Freddie to give her number to his friend.

It was time to get back on the horse and start creating a new Norah, find new interests, and try new things. She also told herself this date would be a test, to
