Chapter 12: The Blessings

Alyona came out of the building with teary eyes. Her dreams shattered in a moment, thinking of Mr. Right’s face. She never thought the guy who responded to her kiss would be so ruthless in actual life. She was more than upset when she encountered the same man. For the last two weeks, she envisaged the thought of meeting this stranger, but when she met him, everything seemed an illusion.

She removed the drops of warm water from her inner eye while settling on the wooden chair outside the tall office.

While she was waiting, she received a call from Olivia.

“Where are you, Al? I have been waiting for you for the last two hours. Please, come fast; my boss is waiting for you.” She jeered.

Alyona’s voice was stuck in her throat as she was lost in her thought.

“Alyona, are you there, babe?” Olivia said in an appealing voice.

“Yes, yes... I am coming. Which floor?” Alyona answered.

“Come on, the third floor in building two,” Olivia answered immediately.

Alyona kept her turmoil aside an
