She had a creepy smile on her face, this made his heartbeat even faster. But Avery kept her eyes fixed on Cameron, tapping her fingers impatiently. “You haven’t answered me.” Her voice had a deep undertone.

“She’s my ex-girlfriend!” He admitted with a sigh.

“And why were you together?”

The young man was rendered speechless once more, “we had business to take care of.” He finally said after a long pause, his face was hard as a rock.

“What’s that paper in your hand, you’ve been holding it for a while now.”

It was the divorce papers, he immediately became tensed trying to hide the contents but squeezing a little harder but it was too late as she had already taken a peek earlier.

“You don’t have to worry about that.” He rolled it into a ball and threw it out the window.

“Correct me if I’m mistaken but we are married?”
