Unexpected

Nick was grateful when his weekend to have Tate rolled around. He had already done a weekend alone and it hadn't been easy. Cheyenne had been ignoring him completely, and he had limited his time in the office keeping it to a bare minimum.

It did make him feel bad, being out of the office so much but the truth was he couldn't face her. She pretended he didn't even exist most days. When she needed to tell him something she would put a sticky note on his desk, even if he was there.
