I go to bed with satisfaction, soaking up everything because there is nothing better than lying in your bed when there is nowhere you need to be and nothing you have to do for the rest of the day. It's Saturday, a day off, and I have no idea how Travis wants to spend it.

Speaking of which ... where is he? I wonder, turning my head to look at her empty side of the bed.

I'm about to take off the covers and look for him in the small apartment when the bedroom door opens and Travis's face peeks out of it.

"I'm glad you finally woke up, he waits there," he tells me and disappears again before he has a chance to open his mouth to ask why.

About a minute later, the door slowly opens again, but this time Travis walks through, carrying in his hands a wooden tray with a plate full of food and a small white vase that holds a single red rosebud, which he carefully walks up to me on the bed.

"Happy white day!" He says cheerfully as he places the tray on my blan
