The island is just a small stone table that protrudes from the bottom of the water peak a few inches. Under the water and near the table are stone stools.

The arched red wooden bridge only runs the width of the pool, and on the entrance bridge, there are a couple of stone lanterns.

Lastly, the teahouse pavilion is a small pagoda-roofed gazebo in a corner of the garden with a bistro table and 2 matching chairs to sit and drink tea.

Even though everything is condensed, it is still very beautiful and the fact that everything is done on a small scale makes the garden look picturesque and attractive rather than grand and intimidating.

However, the only thing that drives me out is the steam that I see rising from the surface of the pool until I realize what I am looking at. The pool is fine, but the water is not regular chlorinated water, it is mineral water pumped from the local hot springs, so our cabin has its private hot spring!
