Sunni tagged herself stupid enough not to stop the kiss! What was she thinking? Since when was she a helpless romantic?!
She could only sit there with her eyes closed and her hands clenched to the bed sheet. Her heart skipped beats and sparks of malfunction running through her little head.
She should take the initiative, right? she was to push him away and save her prestige but heavens she felt like the butterflies had accumulated her stomach like that of a highschool girl! She couldn't possibly be enjoying this right? For heavens sake this was her first kiss!
It was a thing of shame that she didn't end the kiss, but rather the imitator did! Lucas slowly withdrew from the kiss. With his face still Closed to her, he stared at her face... The tale of youthful fantasy written all over it ...one that a 'non- romantic' he couldn't understand.
Sunni felt the kiss over and immediately cursed herself. She was defeated and had no guts to open her eyes. He wa"Cheers!"The aura in the bar that night was heavy and thick. Heavy fragrance of alcohol was around the place and as always lots of people sat on their various seats drinking and chatting. There was also soft music playing the bars background. it added to the scenario of the perfect bar environment."Who says guys should be valued and cried for?? I'm not crying! I'm celebrating freedom!""Yes! who says so?!" Sunni sat close to her drunk friend who was endlessly gulping down alcohol as if it was the only remedy to her sadness. She couldn't stop her sad friend but rather place words of encouragement and patting her from behind."Yes! it is! Cheers!" Hana drunkenly gulped another glass pouring out another."Well....Hana don't drink too much....." Sunni urged trying to take away the glass from Hana's hand but she slapped her hands away."Let me go! you shouldn't stop me!" Hana snapped. "You .....you're also a lady ....y
The first pain Sunni could experience the next morning was a severe headache. She was woken up from the hard floor where she had laid by this pain.Reluctantly she opened her eyes looking around as she let out a exhausted groan and then got to her feet. She looked around confused as she rubbed her head bearing a headache. Accompanied by this was a stomach upset that sent Sunni to the toilet where she had spent a minute or two vomiting. Then with her head on her head she came out to the sitting room to meet Hana waking up from the couch. Hana sat on the couch half sleepy, looking up at Sunni."How did we get here? what happened?" Hana asked. But Sunni was equally clueless."How am I suppose to know. I too got drunk" She explained."How could you also get drunk? You know we were only two and now......You got drunk too....how did we get back?""I too had problems to get drunk to" Sunni defended "Besides....my head really hurts" She
"Well I read a novel online....about a girl who met a guy and they became friends. They were striving to work together and make a living but the girl found the guy strange. Because he didn't act like a full human. So later on, when they were attacked by a robber who seemed to be a mutant. The guy used his true powers ... revealing he was not human. And saved the girl. But when the guy was in trouble. The girl also stepped in to save the guy. But later when they were in the hospital, the guy kissed her ...it was her first kiss...The girl thought he liked her but actually....he didn't know what a kiss was....it was actually to relieve her pain .....""Wait a moment....." Hana interrupted. "Since when did you start reading online novels?""That's not important! listen first" Sunni said. "So now I was angry with the book and can't help but wonder who was wrong. Because the girl chases the guy off and calls him just a beast. So who do you think is wrong, t
Sunni strolled the night street alone. She was in a not so good mood. The thought of what Hana had said was surprisingly troubling her. She was for a reason feeling guilty and wanted a way to talk with Lucas. But he was certainly no where to be found. Before the busy road, Sunni sat on a bench watching as limited amount of vehicles pass by the zebra cross sign before her. Ahead was the traffic light. But these were details she didn't want to pay attention to. She was still thinking of Lucas. she didn't know where to look for him! Where the heck would he have disappeared to?! She wondered. He was still a foreigner on earth after all. Where could he possibly go? She kept on pondering on this while she looked ahead at the road. Then she got out her phone and looked at the message from Hana. ~Hey, where are you? I'm home but you're not here. Quickly come home, bought some takeaways to enjoy tonight~ Sunni sighed l
They both appeared before sunni's apartment as they stood opposite each other. Sunni was nervous and more guilty at the moment. She didn't know how to start the conversation. Why would she even be nervous around a monster?"Well...Thanks for saving me" She had to start somewhere at least."No need. It's my job""And..... Sorry""Sorry for what?""well last time ...The way I...." She felt awkward apologizing but she had to do it" It's just the way I reacted and talked to you back in the hospital....I don't think it was nice so...Well...I....just feel that I .. didn't...i said something wrong.....well...well don't make it more complicated for me.... just... Sorry for the way I reacted last time."He sighed looking at her" I don't think you did anything wrong""But why did you leave the hospital that dad looking annoyed....It means what I said hurt you..."
The alarm clock went for over five minutes, annoying the environment and the victim who was still in bed.Kelvin angrily rolled in bed covering both ears with a pillow. The sound from the alarm was indeed annoying but he had set it to get up early to work. But that didn't seem to be pleasing now!He stretched out his hand and gripped the alarm clock then he threw it out hard on the floor. It broke and happily the sound stopped. He smiled rolling happily in bed, Peace at last but the came his phone, ringing. His annoyance rose again as he rolled to the table beside his bed where his alarm clock once sat and stretched out for his phone.Grabbing it, he was about doing the same when it came to his mind that this was his phone. Then with a groan he sat up looking at his phone that was ringing. The call was from Gabe.He reluctantly picked it up "What?""Where are you?" Gabe's questioning voice came from the other end of the line.
Sunni blinked at the ID card being given to her. What was this feeling she was feeling right now? Excitement? surprise? Confusion? Maybe it was them all mixed together. She looked up at the poker faced Detective general who was still handing her the ID. Was this a dream? a dream come true perhaps? why then was he suddenly given her the Job? Wasn't he the one to turn her down with harsh words and she had been mad. Why the did he give her a chance. And right now the right attitude towards him matters. She had to act cool and not like she would die to have this job. With a sigh, Sunni folded her hands "Why did you suddenly change your mind and give me the chance?" She asked, acting cool but Dave Lin knew better. "Okey. Just forget it, I'll find someone else " He was about putting the ID back into his Overcoat's Pocket when she suddenly dashed out his hands snatching the ID away. At a momen
The journey back seemed long and annoying for Kelvin who watched Lucas sitting beside Sunni. He was obviously jealous but wanted to fool himself with the fact that they were relations. They finally arrived at the agency as the van pulled over at a distance. They got out and left Gabe who was doing the driving to park itWith Sunni, Lara, kelvin, Lucas and Ryan standing outside. They looked ahead at the building as Sunni smiled in excitement. She couldn't believe her dream was coming true."Let's go in" Lara said as they walked into the building. They made their way into the elevator and were taken up to their desired floor. On getting there they got out."Follow me, I'll take you around" Ryan offered."No. Let me do the orientation" Kelvin offered"No" Lucas declined. He could understand the basic of
