Chapter 11
“Dr. Rivera,” a paramedic called as she was walking by the reception.
She halted and turned to her right. She looked at them bringing in a patient on the stretcher.
“Knee aneurysm, emergency.” The paramedics said hurriedly.
(Aneurysm: A ballooning and weakened area in an artery.
Aneurysms often occur in the aorta, brain, back of the knee, intestine, or spleen. A ruptured aneurysm can result in internal bleeding and stroke. It can sometimes be fatal.)
“Okay. Okay, I’ll go with the patient and Janice, inform Dr. Vittori asap.” She said to the nurse who was standing by the side as they took the patient to the intensive care unit.
