Chapter Twenty-Five

Nina’s pov-

“you guys are kinda weird” I turned to face Maverick with a nervous bite to my lip.

“You get used to it” he leaned forward in his seat, his head tilting to the side like he always does before his predatorial prowl towards me.

“erm” I visibly breathed out “so are we watching a movie?” I asked standing awkwardly as I intertwined my fingers together.

“We can do whatever you want to do Liebling” he finished with a strong thick accent that was made up of a mix of aggression yet pleasingly manly sound.

“Liebling?” I asked attempting to resound the foreign word he had spoken as I took a seat beside him on the sofa, the sofa was large, and I could have sat anywhere on this corner sofa but instead my feet took me directly to him.

“Ja Engel” he chuckles amusement shining in his eyes, and he tilted to face me with his attention. His use of an alternative language and thick accent triggered my body with such a strong sense of arousal that I almost moaned aloud at the sound. Holy
