Chapter 37 The Dragon Prince was Alarmed

My employees notified me after the conference that Master Dryzen's luggage had arrived. I discovered him analyzing ancient relics in the laboratory with some highly adept scientists.

"Master Dryzen, the collected pawn gems have arrived."

Master Dryzen removed his gloves and then turned away from what he was doing. I followed him into the room where the expensive jewelry was being delivered. Master Dryzen was motivated to collect the pawned jewels because he was looking for a rare stone. He wishes that the key to the dragon's kingdom would be in his hands sooner. We, and especially him, amassed a collection of pawnbrokers' jewelry, supposedly containing the stone he sought.
