Katherine's words kept replaying over and over again in my head. No matter how hard I tried to ignore those words, her voice came resounding in my ear. I wasn't angry with her one bit, all she said was true, and that was what made everything about her words so hurtful. I was mad at myself for all the bad decisions I have been making and my wolf wasn't sympathizing with me today.

"I tried to tell you didn't I? She was our mate and you still neglected her. This was bound to happen the moment you chose any lady over your mate" He taunted. He was right too, and his words were as hurtful as ever.

"They weren't meant to console you, they were definitely meant to hurt you!" My wolf added to my already bleeding heart.

"But I've been trying, haven't I done enough, why is she still so cold to me. Has she found another lover?" I questioned myself, though I had no idea what the answer was.

"She hasn't!" My wolf snapped and I was genuinely scared for a moment. I guess hearing that his mate
