Lewis Gordon says he likes older women. Seeing that he's young, energetic, and good in bed, I agree to be his girlfriend. But when he runs into me with his friends while I'm dressed in business attire, he is stunned and doesn't know how to react. Then, he quickly introduces me. "She's just a neighbor like an auntie." What? Middle-aged? I immediately break up with him. He sends a clumsy explanation, "When you dress like a middle-aged woman, it's really embarrassing for me." I block him and don't bother replying. Five years later, I bring my son along to celebrate my husband's godfather's birthday. Lewis shows up, holding hands with his girlfriend. When he hears my son call Johann Tucker "Grandpa Johann," he pulls a long face. He blurts, "This is my son, right? He should be calling him great-grandfather." I shoot him a look of pure disgust. "He's not your son." Lewis points at my son's face and sneers, "Look at his eyes and his face. He looks exactly like me. How can you still insist he's not my son?" All I can think of is my extremely jealous husband. If he hears Lewis claiming that he's my son's father, will he go crazy and kill him?

I crossed my arms, watching coldly as the two people who had been plotting to return home and fight for the family inheritance now turned on each other like bitter enemies. How pathetic."Don't you dare," Lewis hissed.Ignoring the excruciating pain in his hand, he staggered toward Katherine, ready to grab her.But Katherine quickly hid behind one of the bodyguards. Her urgent words echoed in everyone's ears. "Lewis is sick!"I raised an eyebrow, watching her calmly. "Oh?""He's a sex addict. He sleeps with eight women every week!"Under my encouraging gaze, Katherine rattled off quickly, "Not only that, but he also killed someone abroad. That's why he brought me back here in secret. I thought I'd enjoy life with him, but he's just a fake."Since Mr. Bauer doesn't want him, I don't want him either. Mrs. Bauer, I'll accept whatever you want to do to punish me. Just please let me go afterward, and don't let Lewis find me. He'll kill anyone when he's on those pills. I don't want t

Lewis' scream echoed throughout the basement.I only used half the strength I could muster. It was the perfect amount of agony. It wouldn't end him, but it would stay with him forever.I watched as Lewis' hands hung limp at his sides. He was curled on the floor, his body convulsing as a mixture of tears, snot, and blood dripped from his chin. The pain was so intense that he couldn't even speak."Does it hurt?"I gently tapped his face with the whip. "Don't worry. I won't break your bones."The whip's tip brushed against his trembling shoulder. "But I'll make sure you remember this pain. Without the Bauer family's protection, you'd better keep your head down and stop causing trouble.""Dad! Dad, I'm sorry! Alicia, I'm sorry! Please, spare me!"Lewis finally managed to catch his breath. He struggled to his feet, only to immediately drop to his knees in front of Elliot and me."Dad, don't cut ties with me. Now that Alicia's punished me, please forgive me. I'll never mention the

Lewis yelled, "No, no, no! Dad, please! Please don't! I was wrong! I'll try harder! I'll listen to you from now on!"But Elliot didn't listen to him. He handed the file to Gilbert and ordered him to handle it immediately."Dad, even if I'm not your biological son, I can guarantee that Damon isn't your biological son either. That night, she was under me—"Elliot lifted his foot and kicked Lewis hard in the chest. "You're really stubborn."With that, he grabbed the tablet from the bodyguard's hand and played a video."Mr. Bauer, last night your son slept with me. I recorded it. If you don't want his scandal to hit the headlines tomorrow, pay me this amount."The video showed a woman threatening Elliot for money with the footage.Elliot swiped the tablet again, and another video popped up.It was the very night Lewis had believed he had slept with me. In the video, he was in bed with that woman, shouting my name as they tangled together. The video was clear, and it wasn't me in t

As soon as we got home, Elliot had the housekeeper take Damon upstairs."Do you want to rest upstairs or head to the basement with me?" he asked. His deep eyes were gentle as he looked at me.I stared back at him, my voice barely above a whisper. "Elliot, are you going to take his side because he's your son?"My heart was pounding. Even though he had never mentioned Lewis to me, I knew from his assistant, Gilbert Coffey, that he actually took very good care of Lewis. He even made sure Gilbert went overseas to check on Lewis every month. With a faint smile, Elliot took my hand and squeezed it gently. "I only side with those I care about. I've raised him, given him the best life, and even planned his future. I owe him nothing. But if he hurts those I care about, I'll make him pay.""Okay! To the basement, then. I'm going to settle the score with everyone who dared to touch me and Damon," I said coldly.Elliot chuckled softly and ruffled my hair. "Alright. Do whatever you want. I'v

I was done wasting words on Lewis.I reached out and tried to yank Damon from his arms, while Damon struggled to get back to me.Yet, Lewis held on tight, refusing to let go.Cody stepped forward to help. "Sir, please let go of the child."Lewis spun around and snapped at him, "Shut up! Do you k

When Lewis heard me, he froze, and his eyes filled with disbelief. But the words that came out of his mouth were vulgar. "Alicia, you just won't admit it, huh?"He suddenly leaned in, brushing his lips against my ear. "I still remember every filthy thing you whispered in my ear that night. What's t

As soon as we reached the garden, Lewis roughly shoved me, sending me crashing into a flowerbed. The branches scraped my hand, sending a sharp pain through me.But seeing Damon struggle in Katherine's arms made me feel worse.I pushed myself up, trying to grab Damon, but Lewis snatched him up int

I rubbed my forehead in frustration. In front of me stood my ex, Lewis Gordon, whom I hadn't seen in five years. He looked like he was about to blow a fuse.I took a deep breath and said again, "Lewis, I'm telling you again. He is not your son. We are over, so please stop pestering me. After all,
