Lewis' scream echoed throughout the basement.

I only used half the strength I could muster.

It was the perfect amount of agony. It wouldn't end him, but it would stay with him forever.

I watched as Lewis' hands hung limp at his sides. He was curled on the floor, his body convulsing as a mixture of tears, snot, and blood dripped from his chin.

The pain was so intense that he couldn't even speak.

"Does it hurt?"

I gently tapped his face with the whip. "Don't worry. I won't break your bones."
