Ame yawned as she came out of her car. It had been a tiring day and she eagerly looked forward to a warm bath and warm food to assuage her hunger.

One of the maids rushed down the front steps, looking smart in her starched and ironed uniform as she smiled her welcome to Ame.

"Welcome ma!" she said with enthusiasm, smiling warmly at Ame as she made to collect Ame's bag which the latter declined with a small laugh.

"Thanks, Susan. I can manage this. Please get my other things from the car," Ame replied as she tossed her car keys at the girl, who caught it smartly.

"Yes ma," Susan replied, happy to be of service to her young madam.
