However, that euphoria did not stop their actions towards Emily. Lucy’s eyes returned sharply to Emily’s body, which was still lying weakly on the ground. With one quick movement, Lucy kicked Emily’s body until she curled up in pain on the ground. Connie and Jennie followed the action with cheers, each venting their seemingly endless frustration.

“Look, this creature doesn’t give up at all!” Connie exclaimed, a satisfied grin etched on her face. “Why doesn’t she just die?”

“So disgusting, still alive like this. Useless trash!” Lucy added, her expression one of disgust, her kicks getting stronger.

The three girls took turns kicking, hitting, and pulling Emily's hair without the slightest bit of pity. Emily, who was no longer strong, could only protect her face with both hands, trying to avoid the incessant kicks. Every thrust of their bodies seemed to cut Emily's soul deeper. Her body struggled in unspeakable pain, but she knew that fighting back was not an option. The more she fought back, the more brutally they would torture her, and this cycle would repeat itself every time they met.

Finally, after a few minutes that felt like an eternity to Emily, their laughter died down. Lucy, who was still panting, raised her hand, signaling them to stop.

"Hey, come on," Lucy said, taking a deep breath. "We don't have time to deal with earthworms like this. I have to choose the best dress to attract the attention of the four Alphas."

Connie nodded immediately. "Right! I also have to go to the salon to fix my hair," she replied, tossing her hair back stylishly.

Jennie added, glancing at Emily with a disgusted look, "I also have to exfoliate after touching this trash. My body feels dirty."

The three girls finally left, leaving Emily lying weakly, her body full of bruises and blood seeping through her clothes. The wound at the corner of her lips throbbed painfully; her eyes were swollen from the crying that never stopped.

The heat of the sun felt like it was stinging her wounded body, making her vision blurry and causing a headache. In the midst of her pain, Emily saw her cell phone that had fallen a while ago, a little far from where she was. With trembling hands, she reached for her cell phone, trying to stay conscious amidst the pain that was hitting her.

As soon as Emily managed to reach her cellphone, she immediately saw a screen filled with missed calls. Luna's name was displayed on the screen over and over again, and Emily's chest pounded even more when the call came back in. Her body shook, and her fear increased, more than her fear of the three girls who had just tortured her.

With trembling hands, Emily answered the call, putting the cellphone to her ear hesitantly. She could barely control her voice when a very familiar voice greeted her from the other end of the phone.

"Where did you die?" Luna's cold voice sounded full of anger. "The four Alphas and the guests are all home now. Come back here quickly!”

Emily held her breath, her heart pounding in a mixture of fear and despair that surged. She didn't expect to hear such terrifying news. The news she had just heard felt like a nightmare that had come back to haunt her—something she didn't want to hear at all. For Emily, it would be better for her to die now than to face the four Alphas who left terrible memories for her a few years ago.

Emily was frozen with a numb tongue. Her head was empty, not knowing how to respond. Tears flowed heavily from her red eyes, wetting her still-sore cheeks. Her breath was short, choked by a feeling of despair that was getting deeper. Her vision began to fade; everything around her was spinning, and her head felt so heavy. Her heart was beating fast, with increasingly tight breaths in her chest, making her almost lose consciousness. Emily felt that her suffering would return, bringing her into endless torture and making her feel like she was back in hell.

A few years ago, Emily Carey, who was still eight years old, looked very happy while shopping with her parents at a traditional market. The bustling and colorful market atmosphere radiated joy in her sparkling eyes.

“Emily, what do you want to buy, honey?” asked her mother, Samantha, in a soft, loving voice. Emily looked at the colorful teddy bears lined up in front of her, weighing her options carefully. Finally, her little finger pointed to a pink teddy bear that looked adorable. “I want that one, Mom,” she said with a big smile.

Thomas, her father, smiled and immediately carried Emily near the row of dolls, then pointed to a much larger one. “Look, this one is bigger! Do you want this one, Emily?” asked Thomas with a big smile. Emily nodded quickly, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. Thomas bought her the big teddy bear, which was almost the same size as Emily’s body. Emily’s face immediately burst into joy.

“Happy, honey?” asked Samantha, looking at her daughter, who was hugging her new doll tightly. She walked side by side with her, carrying their shopping bags. The happiness radiating from the small family was visible.

However, that brief happiness was instantly shattered. While walking past a café, Thomas accidentally bumped into a man who was busy on the phone. Tension immediately gripped Thomas; his face turned pale when he recognized the man's aura—a gamma, a figure with a higher position and power.

"How dare you bump into me!" he snapped while pulling Thomas's collar hard.

Thomas lowered his head in fear. "I-I'm sorry, please forgive me," he stuttered. However, the apology seemed to ignite the gamma's emotions. With a glare, he threw a hard punch at Thomas's face, causing Thomas to be pushed and stagger until he hit the café wall.
