Eighty Four

When the phone rang, Ruby was sitting in the living room back at home with Olivia sitting on the couch in front of her. She was telling her about how many times Cameron had called her just to speak with her.

She picked up her phone and frowned down at it, not sure she wanted to pick up a call from a strange number. For all she knew, it could be Cameron, but then again, this wasn't his number. She would have recognized it if it was, as she had it memorized. Besides, she knew he wouldn't call her again after he had done it several times but she hadn't picked it up.

“Who’s that?” Olivia asked and Ruby lifted her shoulder in a shrug.
