Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Date at the amusement park

We are at the entrance of the amusement park, waiting for my mother. Drey insisted to stay until my parents arrive.

He keeps looking at his watch, probably late for his business. So, I ensured him that my parents will arrive any minute and he is free to leave, but just shrugged and ignored me. Wow! This man, really.

Yelena is still holding my old phone and watching videos, I know that by watching the videos on my phone it would answer their questions. They are very smart, so when they combine their mind you would be scared or amazed to them.

They are late again, this always happen because my mama want to spend time with him! My mother have always wanted a baby boy, but unfortunately for her I swim faster than the others! If you know what I mean.

I was distracted with my thoughts when I felt someone tugged my shirt, so I look at my daughter.

“Why baby?” I carried her. She pouted and look at me with a sleepy eyes! She`s so cute! I`m stop my urge to pinch her cheeks because the last time I did that she ignored me for the entire month!

“Grandmama is sooooo late again! I want play already, mommy! Call grandmamma and tell her to move faster!” Yelena is very spoiled in our family, especially that I`m the first one to give birth in our circle of friends and my family! They always spoil her even though they knew that she`s being a brat and demanding they still follow her! They said that they can`t resist their cuteness so they end up following them.

If they do that I always end up spanking them and telling them that`s it`s wrong and be kind. They would plead me and ask for Drey`s help but he would always teased them and stick his tongue out!

I was about to call mom when we heard a sound of a car approaching us. Yelena look at the car.

“Grandmama!” She said so I put her down, she run towards the car, where it stop besides Drey`s car. I look at my mom who`s carrying the boy with the same features as mine. We both have the same eyes and he also look like him. We have same eyes, nose and lips but he also look so much like him!

I look at Yelena who suddenly stop in front of mama while starring at the boy mom`s carrying. She took at the phone in her bag then click something before looking at Mirk Aonaran. She went closer and ask mama to bring him down. She put the phone besides her brother`s face like she`s confirming something or more like comparing.

She suddenly laugh then pulled her brother closer to her and whispered something. They both look at me, then smirk. What? I suddenly shivered so I shook my head. Drey called me telling that he needs to go. He also bid good bye to my parents, they told him to be careful he nodded and kiss my mom cheeks, which made my dad hissed so Drey look at him chuckled hugging my mom. So dad glared at him and pushed him a little, so mom looked at him and dad acted like he didn`t do anything wrong. I laugh! That is very possessive with mom, and this always happens when Drey or any of my guy friend is here.

I called the kids to come near me, as usual they raced again and the result woud always be the same. Mirk Aonaran won and Yelena Stellify is glaring at his older brother. Mirk Aonaran chuckled but he went closer to her sister, and hug her while patting her head. His acting like an older brother again, even though a normal reaction of a kid is they would jump out of joy for winning.

We went inside while I was holding Mirk`s hands in my right hand and Yelena on my left hand. Mama want to carry Mirk but like Yelena, he is very clingy with me. Mirk is the total opposite if Yelena, he is very silent kid and cunning like me. He is very straight forward and he always read a book like he can`t live without it. But he is a sweet kid like Yelena, he just don`t know how to show it so he end up being misunderstood. Yelena is extrovert while my son is introvert. I know that feeling, so when his with me I try my very best to teach him how to express his feelings well, and I`m telling him to have friends too.

Yelena always bring her friends at home, friends that she met at the park or neighbors. And of course being a kid, they are loud. So, Mirk would always stay at his room and read book. But there`s this certain friend of Yelena that he hates so much! She`s very talkative and friendly, like Yelena. So I don`t get it why he hates her. So I ask him one time, and guess what he said? “Mom, I just hate her pretty face and red, pouty lips!” I was so shock that I can`t even utter a words.

They almost ride every kid’s rides before they got tired and ask for foods. They are some restaurant inside the amusement park so we went to the nearest one.

Someone assist us when they saw us entering their restaurant, we sat down, and so the waiter came at our table and ask for our orders. While mom is ordering my phone vibrate so I excused myself and answered the phone. But before I went outside I saw my kids watching the videos on my old phone.

“Hey.” I said.

“What time are you done there?” Drey asked, maybe he`s done with his business and bored at home.

“Maybe later, the kids are hungry so we decided to eat here.” I heard him breathing harshly.

“Are you ok?” He didn`t answer my question, instead he ask what restaurant. I heard him sighed, trying to calm himself. I start to panic, so he told me to calm down and go home.

“Why?” He paused.

“He`s back, and he is at the same place at you. His at the restaurant, Erica.” After he said that I ended the call without saying good bye and run as fast as I could.

As I entered the restaurant my heart beat so fast that it`s the only thing that I can hear. He shouldn`t be here! He don`t deserve to know!

The fast walk suddenly slowed down, as my beat faster and loudly to the point that I think I`m deaf. I stop. I`m late, he saw them. My hands trembled, my lips shivered and I also began to sweat cold. He is really is back. I don`t know what to feel, I`m mad, I`m so scared. I fucking hate him to death! But above of all those feelings, there`s this feeling that is very familiar to me. And I don`t want to acknowledge it.

“Oh, there she is! Mommy daddy is here!” Just hearing those words made my world collapsed! Why did he came back? My vision became blurry and I can`t control my body anymore. It moves own its own, I just notice I`m in front of him and just a blink of an eye. I slap him. I heard him chuckled and looked at me, anger is so evident in his eyes. I looked at him with the same intensity.

“How a nice way to say hi, Erica.”
