Alex’s POV

I was going out of my mind, and I was in real danger of wearing a hole into the carpet if I didn’t stop pacing soon. I cannot believe my fucking sister was missing again. I should never have let her go out with just one security guard. From now on she wasn’t going anywhere without a team and one of the three of us.

Nova has come to me that morning. “I’m meeting a uni professor for a latte, what security do I really need?” she’d scoffed when I wanted to send a team with her. “No one knows who I am yet, just let me do this low key please?”

I agreed because she was always so calm and logical. I couldn’t disagree with that she was saying. We haven’t announced Nova’s return and presented her to the people yet so she would probably stand out more with a team.

“Okay” I conceded “Rolfe goes with you, but the second he senses something off you do what he says!”
