LOGINThe relentless knocking jerked Sarah awake. Her eyes were still heavy due to the intense sexual session she had just engaged in. The bed smelled of sex and sweat, and there. She could feel a slight headache coming on and the need to puke.
"Open the door, Miss Sarah, I know you are in there." Her eyes snapped wide open at the recognition of the voice.
That was Damian, her personal bodyguard that Vincent had entrusted her to his care.
Rafael, who was now awake, was also already walking butt naked towards the door when Sarah suddenly rushed out of the bed to grab him, her other hand holding the white sheet against her naked body. "What are you doing? He must not see that we are together." She urgently said in a harsh whisper, but Rafael couldn't care any less if they were caught together. "What do I..." "Hide," she interrupted him. Rafael frowned, finding her suggestion ridiculous, but when the knock persisted, she pushed him towards the back of the wardrobe and had him hide there. She then grabbed Rafael's shirt and fastened it on. It dropped right in the middle of her thighs. "Coming! Feeling sick." She said lazily, hoping to sound convincing.
Finally, she opened the door and found the quiet, gigantic figure of Damian standing there with his arms folded. His eyes immediately scanned her, and a judging expression slipped on his face."Why are you here? I don't remember Vincent's orders including you invading my privacy," she complained, but Damian was far from listening to her. Without waiting for her consent, he stepped forward and shut the door behind him.
Sarah rolled her eyes, trying so hard to seem like his presence didn't unnerve her. "I don't remember inviting you in." She muttered like she was still half-sleepy, her hand pressing her throbbing temple. "Where is Rafael?" He suddenly asked, startling her with the question. "Wh...what do you mean? Why are you looking for my cousin brother?" She stuttered. Damian turned around and walked up to her. "I saw you leave the hall with Rafael. You two were quite intimate for cousins." His eyes raked her half-naked body as he spoke, taking in the shirt she was putting on. "That shirt, I saw it on Rafael earlier. So tell me, did you get in bed with him?" He turned around and started checking the room, strolling toward the bathroom door. "Stop! What are you even doing? Rafael isn't here. I...mean, it's my time of the month. I got stained, and he offered me a change of clothes. He left afterwards." Sarah lied, even though she didn't find her own lie convincing. She couldn't look him in the eye, so she looked everywhere else but at him. He walked closer and stopped right before her, staring her down seductively. A slight frown appeared on Sarah's face as confusion set in. Why was Damian looking at her like that? "I can smell him all over you," he said in a voice huskier than his normal voice. Sarah decided to make fun of the moment and tone the seriousness down. She forced a giggle out. "I understand that you care about my safety, Damian. But I need to rest. You can tell Vincent that I will be back home tomorrow morning. I had some alcohol earlier, and I need to rest, alone, please." Her eyes found him, hoping that her persuasion worked.
Damian's smirk only widened as he leaned in. "Lying doesn't suit you, little Sarah. But lucky for you, my loyalty lies with whoever makes it worth my while. So... what do you have to offer to keep my mouth shut?" Sarah stared at him dazedly. She knew that look. The way his gaze darkened as it traced the curve of her lips. He was reveling in her mystery because he already knew that Rafael had slept with her.
"You're disgusting," she spat, looking like she could throw him out anytime soon, but Damian merely chuckled as he turned around and reached for the door. "Then I suppose Vincent will be hearing about this..." "Wait." The word left her lips before she could stop it. Damian paused, his smug expression telling her he had already won. She hated herself for what she was about to do, but she needed to control the situation. She swallowed and slowly stepped forward, closing the distance between them."You want something in exchange?" she murmured, tilting her head up so her lips hovered dangerously close to his. "Fine. But you better keep your mouth shut."
She was going to kiss him when Rafael bailed out of his hiding and punched Damian on his jaw before either could comprehend what was happening. Sarah gasped with fear as she watched Damian hold on to his bleeding jaw and Rafael, who now had a robe on, fuming with anger. "I can't believe you just hit him!" Sarah shouted, but Rafael was far from caring. "You were just about to kiss him after fucking me! Who does that?" Sarah covered her lips with her hand;Damian had heard it all now. Before she could recover, Damian was already hitting Rafael back, and they were now exchanging punches.
"God no!" Sarah feared as she took in the scene, but Damian finally released a wounded Rafael. Panting hard, he started to speak. "You are a disgrace to the Laurent family," Damian shitted on him. Rafael, wiping the blood away from his mouth, let out a dark chuckle. "You are just a pathetic loser who's pained that I got to hit her and you didn't." Sarah wasn't cool with Rafael's choice of words, but she decided to let it go. She was more concerned about this fight ending than Rafael's choice of words. Damian looked back and forth between the two. "Good, let's see who regrets this by tomorrow morning." Rafael was about to strike him again, but Sarah quickly blocked him. She then faced Damian."Damian, I'm so sorry you have to get involved in this. I promise to make it up to you tomorrow, but please don't tell Vincent about this. I beg you." Damian glared at her, his expression one of contemplation.
"You would have to do better than make promises." He taunted, then fixed his collar and exited her suite. A sudden mixed feeling dawned on Sarah, forcing vomit to spill from her mouth and all over the floor.Rafael wasn't saved from the splash of the vomit.
The tension in the room was almost suffocating. Neither Vincent nor Xander dared to acknowledge each other at first as his men led Vincent in with guns to his head. Xander's men finally withdrew their guns, stepping back but remaining poised for action, their eyes darting between the two brothers. Vincent exhaled slowly and lowered his hands, his gaze never leaving Xander's."Hello, Xander," Vincent finally greeted, his voice measured.Xander tilted his head, his usual slow smirk stretching across his face. "Just when I thought you'd call me brother for once," he mused, feigning mock hurt.Vincent scoffed. "We never had the chance to be brothers, Xander. You say it like we were birthed by the same fathers."Xander nodded, his expression darkening. "Enough with the sentimental crap. No one really cares. Why are you here?""You know why," Vincent said, his tone huskier. "I'm here for Sarah."Xander's smile widened, though it lacked warmth. He looked at Vincent like he had just asked for
Kendra’s breath hitched, her pulse drumming violently in her ears as she crouched behind her seat, her hands gripping the edge of the table. Had she truly heard what she thought she did? Camille was poisoning her father? Dr. Evans was faking his cancer results? Her stomach twisted in rage and horror. She wanted to leap over the table, to throw Camille to the ground and force the truth out of her, to tear that smug expression off her face. But she forced herself to remain still, biting down on her lip so hard it almost bled. She had to think. She had to get out of here before they realized she was listening.“He will be dead soon,” Camille said. The intensity in her voice caused a sharp gasp to escape from Kendra’s lips before she could stop it.Camille’s eyes snapped up. Kendra could feel it. She looked towards them. Her heart seized as Camille’s locked onto her, recognition flashing across her face. For a fraction of a second, Camille sat frozen, then her expression twisted into shee
Kendra couldn't help but notice more tension in the Laurents's building these days. The way Camille disappeared for long hours and came back looking like she was trying hard to appear innocent, the hushed phone calls when she thought no one was listening. It all gnawed at Kendra's instincts. Her father's fiancée had never struck her as the trusting kind, but this secrecy felt different. That evening, Kendra sat in her father's office, scrolling absentmindedly through a set of business reports she was helping with, when Vincent walked in. Kendra slowly looked up at him as a strange feeling settled on her. He was looking at her, a slight frown on his face like he had something to say.Kendra released the report and huffed. "Say it," she ordered."You need to return to Seattle," Vincent replied without preamble.Kendra blinked, caught off guard. "What?" She sat up straight. "Why?"Vincent exhaled heavily and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing out at the darkening skyline. "I
It was a crisp morning in a private, secluded area of the Panda building. Xander led Sarah to the stables. “Today, I will teach you how to ride a horse,” he had told her before they made their way here. Sarah, who had begun to accept the reality of her new life, hesitated only for a moment before following him. Deep inside, she felt a strange feeling of dread and excitement. The stable was quiet and filled with the earthy scent of horses and hay. Xander mounted a strong, dark stallion after helping Sarah onto it first. As they rode together along a winding track, Sarah tried to relax against his chest, and he peppered her hair with kisses as they rode. The cool breeze brushed against her face, and for a brief moment, she allowed herself to enjoy the simple pleasure of riding.“You are doing well,” Xander commented as he rode with her. “I knew you would do well by my side.” Sarah managed a small smile, though her heart still raced with uncertainty. Suddenly, a misstep sent both of th
Her face drained of color, shock and indignation warring within her. "That's not it. Such insinuations are baseless." Her voice wavered slightly.Xander's demeanor shifted abruptly. "Baseless?" He scoffed. "You dare dismiss my words as gibberish?" He gestured sharply. "Seize her."Two guards materialized from the corners and gripped Stephanie's arms with ironclad holds. Panic flared in her eyes as she struggled futilely. "Please, my Lord! Forgive my stupidity, please." Her pleas were a stark contrast to her earlier bravado.Xander regarded her coldly before signaling the guards to release her. "Let this serve as a reminder to all." His gaze swept over the assembly coldly. "Challenge me again, and the consequences will be dire."The hall plunged into a heavy silence, the officials subdued by the display of Xander's swift retribution."This meeting is over," Xander declared, his tone brooking no argument. "Disperse, and dare not summon me under such pretenses again."As the members file
The corridors of the Panda Society's stronghold echoed with Damian's hurried footsteps. His mind was a mess of thoughts, grappling with the shocking news he'd just uncovered. Without hesitation, he approached the heavy doors of the cult room and pushed them open, forgetting to knock due to the urgent need to deliver a message.Inside, the room was bathed in the soft glow of yellow lights coming from just two bulbs that were lit in the cult room. At the center, on the big chair that served as his throne, sat Lord Xander. Sarah was perched on his lap, her arms draped around his neck, their lips locked in a passionate kiss. The intimate scene froze Damian in his tracks."My Lord... I..." Damian stammered, averting his gaze and taking a step back. "I apologize; I didn't realize you were... occupied."Xander, unperturbed, slowly broke the kiss, his piercing gaze lingering on a horny Sarah before turning them toward Damian. "You entered like you were being chased, Damian." His voice was cal
