Chapter 13: Betrayed

Tangerine felt like her world was crumbling around her. She couldn't believe that Ethero, the man she had trusted and loved, had been lying to her all along. He had claimed to be her husband in her past life as Carmilla, but it was all a lie. And to make matters worse, she had just discovered that the man she had grown to love, Uno, was actually working with Ethero.

As she wandered the city streets, trying to make sense of everything, a group of vampires appeared before her. They were different from any vampires she had seen before. They were stronger, faster, and had a strange energy about them.

One of the vampires stepped forward. "Hello,
