Chapter 20

“Lincoln” Quinn's heart flew into her mouth.

She blinked her eyes repeatedly to shake off the image in front of her as she thought her eyes and ears were playing a prank on her, but anytime she opened her eye, the image was still there.

After opening her eyes and closing them for several times, she came to the realization that neither her eyes nor her ears were playing a prank on her but that everything she was seeing, was real.

“What was he doing here?

Who told him I am in mountain pack?

Of all the many places, why did he choose to look for me here?

How did he notice my absence just a few minutes that I left the pack house?

Or he had guards watch over me without my knowledge?” a bunch of questions roam through Quinn's heart.

Her mouth was wide open as She just stood staring at Lincoln without a word.

Her brain seemed to have abandoned her, as she didn't have an idea of what to do.

“Should I run to Lincoln?

Should I ignore Lincoln and run to Lucas instead?

“What did you come here to do
