Clouds of sweat poured out from Quinn’s body and her clothes became instantly wet.Yes, she was drenched in her own sweat but, that wasn't her problem. She wasn't expecting Alpha Maverick to do anything so soon. Based on what she has read about shadow pack, nothing can be done to captives until a week upwards, so what was happening? She thought Alpha maverick won't do anything until a week time as always, so she could come up with something, but now this.“Dad, please don't go with them, “she quickly held Alpha Jaxon. As She begged in tears. She didn't care if blue moon pack members see her as a weakling. She didn't care about anything at that moment apart from Alpha Jaxon’s safety. She didn't want her father to go. Alpha maverick was a cruel Alpha, and no amount of pleading could soften his rock heart.“He might be taken to another dungeon or a cell where I will never set my eyes on him again” she panicked, but the guard pushed her backward and she hit her butt on the hard ground.Bu

Quinn just obeyed and stayed like a moron until she heard Lincoln growled. She didn't fight or try to stop Lucas, not because she was enjoying what was happening, but because she didn’t know what to do. It was when she heard lincoln’s voice that she suddenly leaped from the bed, as if a spell had been removed from her eyes. She was frightened, “Lucas almost mark me! The same man who killed my father the Alpha with his brother!”“The goddess seems to be playing a game with my life” she laughs so loud like a maniac as the door broke revealing Lincoln.“What if Lincoln didn't arrive on time or never arrived,” Quinn shivered at the thought of everything. She would have not been able to stand being Luca's mate! Maybe she would have taken her life or flown far away from the supernatural walls. Before anyone could realize it, Lucas gave out a painful moan, Lincoln had thrown a punch at him, breaking his nose.“How dare you try to mark my mate!” he yelled at Luca's face, not minding the blo

Lincoln burst open the door of his room. All that he just heard, was too much to take in for just one day.“So all my whole life has been a lie? “ He sank to the bed.***MOMENTS AGO***He was actually planning on how to make his path never cross with Quinn without rejecting her when someone knocked at the door.“You should be careful the way you knock on the door of the soon-to-be Alpha, your master,” he said when he opened the door to see one of Blue Moon's pack fighters.“Am sorry Alpha. It's just that am afraid your brother forcefully dragged your mate into his room. Though I don't know what he is trying to do, but I am sure it's not going to be good on your side considering if anything happens to your mate without sensing and helping her, the consequence is the same as refusing her “ Mark bent his head.Even though he was just a fighter, he had curiously read about so many other packs. And in one of those readings, he had stumbled on mating in shadow pack where he read how the ma

“Lucas maverick, I don't hold anything against you for killing that man, “ Lincoln said, pointing at Alpha maverick “ he deserves what he got but my say about you not coming close to my mate still stands “Lucas boiled in rage, disgusted at what Lincoln just spat. He wasn’t leaving Quinn for anyone. He wasn't facing those scary consequences, never!Gosh! How terrible that consequence is, and he would never accept such fate all because of one shitty dude that calls himself his elder brother! No, never!“She is my mate and am never going to reject her beside you are my elder brother, so as my elder brother, you should reject her for me and roam the earth forever !” Lucas said, placing his one hand on his hip while the other hand, he had an arrow.“How dare him! How dare Lucas talk to him that way. He is the next Alpha, so if anyone should reject Quinn and roam the earth forever, then it should be Lucas” Lincoln mumbled to himself. His face covered In fury.“Am the next Alpha and as the
