GET THE HELL OUT

Earlier That Day

Tisha's hand shivered on her way home. She had just finished her three months internship program yesterday and was already planning to return home when her dad called her to say that his health condition had deteriorated and he needed to see her.

Her father was the only family she had left since her mum died when she was little. She wasn't close with her dad's extended family since they never liked her mum.

She had studied business management in college at the request of her father who wanted her to take over the reins of his company when she was ready. She had even done her internship in a much bigger company because she wanted to get enough experience to enable her to take her dad's company to greater heights.

Although his company was into manufacturing, importation, and exportation of goods, it wasn't at the top. It was just average but Tisha was willing to make it one of the best which was the reason why she put so much effort into learning during her internship program. She had even lived at the accommodation the company provided for three months because her father's house was far away from the company.

After finalizing her program yesterday, she had been so happy and was eager to come home today and celebrate with her dad only to get his call in the morning and learn that he was very sick. She could not understand what was wrong with him since he was a very healthy man.

Whatever it was though, she was ready to quickly rush him to the hospital if his condition turned out to be serious. She came down from the bus the moment it stopped by her street and walked as fast as her feet could carry her.

When she knocked on the gate, she realized that a new guard had been employed and the old one no longer worked for them. She didn't think too much of it and went straight to the house.

The moment she opened her door, however, she was greeted with the sight of an annoyingly familiar face, Lizzy's. She had met Lizzy during her first year in college and Lizzy had stuck with her after that.

Lizzy became so close to her that they became best of friends. She loved Lizzy like a sister and trusted her from her heart. However, during their second year in college, she met Chad and fell in love with him, they began dating and she introduced Chad to Lizzy. A month later she caught them together in bed. She broke up with Chad after that and cut Lizzy off from her life.

Lizzy tried many times to rekindle their friendship but Tisha refused because she was someone who valued loyalty. She nursed her broken heart for months and finally got over both of them. She hadn't seen Lizzy in a long time and the last place she wanted a girl like that to be was in her house. She had come to realize that Lizzy was an opportunist and only got close to her because of her dad's wealth.

"What the hell are you doing in my house?" Tisha yelled.

Lizzy smiled and ran up to her while opening her arms for a hug. "I've missed you so much Tisha and I've been waiting for you for a long time. I can't believe that you are now my step sister, this is a dream come true."

Tisha slapped Lizzy across the face, "you must be very crazy to spew such nonsense from your mouth. Who let you in here? Now get out. Get the hell out of my house."

Lizzy held her cheeks and began to cry, "why do you hate me so much, Tisha? Is it a crime to be your sister?"

Tisha couldn't tolerate Lizzy anymore and yelled for her father's private guards. A woman instead came out from her father's room and Tisha immediately recognized her as Lizzy's mother. She stared at the woman in shock, "what is going on here, and why are you both in my house?"

Lizzy's mother wiped her eyes and said, "stop screaming Tisha, that is no way to talk to your stepmother."

Tisha scoffed, "I can see that both mother and daughter are delusional. You gold diggers will learn your lesson once I tell my dad who you really are."

Tisha pushed Lizzy's mother out of the way and hurried to her dad's room but before she got to the door, Lizzy's mother said, "I'm sorry Tisha but your father is dead. We had only been married for a few weeks but he left me all alone. He died this morning Tisha."

"You are such a liar" Tisha screamed and ran into her father's bedroom but could not find him. She checked the toilets, bathrooms and every other room in the house but she couldn't find him.

She angrily walked up to Lizzy's mum, "my dad spoke to me this morning and his health wasn't so bad, tell me where he is right now, otherwise, you will regret it."

Lizzy's mum stared at Tisha pitifully, "my dear, I was right beside him when he made that call, he suffered a heart attack right after that and died. His body has been deposited in the morgue. This is a trying time for all of us Tisha and we need to come together as a family and support each other."

Tisha stared at Lizzy's mum as tears streamed down her face, "guards," she screamed. Two men quickly came in from outside. Their faces were not familiar to Tisha but she assumed that her father must have changed all his staff. The two men ran to her and asked, "Ma'am, what do you want us to do for you?"

Eyes blazing with fury, Tisha ordered, "throw these two parasites out of this house."

The men stared at each other and laughed while Lizzy's mum walked up to Tisha and slapped her so hard. Tisha immediately attempted to return the slap but one of the men held her hand. Two more men came into the house and Lizzy's mum ordered, "take this brat into the room right away."

A young lady and a man who seemed like a doctor also came into the house as two of the guards dragged the resisting Tisha into one of the bedrooms and threw her on the bed. Tisha tried to get up immediately she landed on the bed but the four men rushed to her sides and pinned her to the bed.

Tisha struggled with all her might but could not break free. The doctor who had entered the room at this point took out an injection and gave Tisha a shot through her arm.

The drugs made Tisha weak and she suddenly began to feel drowsy. The men all left her on the bed while she struggled unsuccessfully to get up. Tisha stared at everyone in the room, from the four men to Lizzy who was smiling victoriously at her, Lizzy's mum, the doctor, and they young lady who had entered with a box.

"What are you guys doing to me?" She asked weakly.

Lizzy's mum moved closer to her and smiled, "your dad had a lot of debts because his business was failing. We are talking about millions of dollars and someone has to pay the money. Since you are his daughter, it is only right that you pay off his debts for him.

Mr. Kingston is a billionaire who has offered to pay this money. All you need to do is spend the night with him. I'm sure it's pretty simple so just cooperate with us."

After speaking, Lizzy's mum gestured for the lady with a box to come forward. She opened the box and took out a very short gown with a pair of high-heeled silver shoes. Tisha watched her as she also took out makeup equipment from her bag. She struggled once again to get up from the bed but her eye lids suddenly felt so heavy that she was forced to close them as darkness engulfed her.
