"Kai!" Tiffany called out, her voice trembling. He stopped in his tracks, pausing to take a deep breath before turning to look at her. Her wide eyes were brimming with fear, her chest rising and falling rapidly as though the air itself was too heavy to breathe.

Kai released Kate’s arm, his jaw tightening as he turned away without a word. He walked back to Tiffany, took her hands in his, and guided her out of the room. The sound of their footsteps echoed, leaving Amelia frozen in shock, her mouth slightly open as though trying to form words that never came.

Barely a minute later, a man burst into the room, panting as though he had run a marathon. "Ma’am, the police are searching for you," he said between gasps.

Kate’s head snapped up. "What?" she asked, her voice sharp but tinged with panic.

Tiffany’s worried eyes darted to Kai’s face. He was calm, too calm, as though he had expected this all along.

The man glanced nervously at Kai and Tiffany, his words faltering under their gaze. "Th

The car pulled smoothly into the private driveway of Kai’s mansion. Tiffany glanced up at it, her hand still resting in Kai’s.She stepped out gracefully, guided by Kai’s steady hand. The penthouse wasn’t simply illuminated. It glowed with arm light spilled through the expansive windows. The moment they stepped inside, Tiffany was engulfed by an enveloping warmth. A delicate scent greeted her... jasmine, rose. Her gaze swept over the space, taking in the soft lighting that bathed the room. Votive candles flickered on the entryway table, their flames dancing in intricately carved holders. Her eyes widened slightly as she turned to Kai. "Kai…" she murmured, her voice trailing off with a mix of surprise and wonder. He smiled with a calm but unmistakably proud expression. "That’s not all, my love," he said as he led her deeper into the penthouse. The living room was utterly transformed. Ivory roses stood tall in crystal vases near the floor-to-ceiling windows, their petals luminous in t

Tiffany stepped out of the car the moment Kai opened the door, her walk was effortless. The soft click of her heels against the pavement seemed to echo in the quiet morning. She wore a white, button-down mini dress. Thin straps tied in delicate bows at her shoulders, the fabric hugging her curves like it had been tailored just for her. The ruffled hem fluttered lightly around her thighs, teased by the cool breeze, and the neckline, modest dipped into a gentle sweetheart shape that offered just a whisper of her décolletage.Kai’s hand moved instinctively to the small of her back as she straightened, his thumb brushing the fabric just above the curve of her hip. The contact was subtle, protective, and intimate, like a silent claim. The sunlight played tricks with the soft cotton of her dress, making it glow faintly against the warmth of her skin.Tiffany’s hair was swept into a loose bun with perfectly imperfect tendrils cascading to frame her face, softening the sharp elegance of he

Tiffany lay curled beneath the duvet, cocooned in its warmth, the dim glow of the bedside lamp painting the room in soft amber hues. Her fingers traced absent, looping patterns across the sheets, her gaze fixed on Kai. He stood by the glass doors leading to the balcony. The faintness of his voice drifted faintly through the room as he spoke into his phone with the breeze tousling his shirt like invisible hands. Warm light from the compound below danced across his face flickering shadows that seemed to move with him. She watched him intently, her heart aching at the sight. He looked so extraordinary. It hit her then how much she had missed this. Missed him. The way he would hold her, the way his presence alone could bring calmness to the storm inside her. Though she couldn’t hear what he was saying, she watched the way his shoulders shifted and eased. The tension in his stance melting away.A few minutes later, Kai slipped his phone into his pocket and turned toward the room. Thei

The car screeched in front of Tiffany’s house, but before Peter could fully pull over, Kai flung the door open and leapt out. His feet hit the ground unsteadily, sending him sprawling onto the pavement. The sting of the fall barely registered as he pushed himself up, his legs carrying him forward in a frantic sprint toward the house. His breath came in short gasps, and his heart was pounding not just from the run but from the overwhelming wave of emotions crashing over him. She was finally back. All his emotions hit him all at once. Kai burst through the door. His chest heaved as his gaze scanned the room, and then it stopped. His breath hitched, and for a moment, the world seemed to freeze the moment he saw her there in Naomi’s arms. His lips trembled. Kai clenched his jaw to keep the tears threatening to spill at bay. It was as if seeing her at that very moment had ignited every suppressed emotion he had carried for days."Tiffany?" he croaked, his voice raw and uneven, barely abo

Kai exhaled sharply, his voice slurring slightly as he swirled the whiskey in his glass. "What, Peter? If you don’t have solid information about Tiffany, get out."Peter cleared his throat nervously but pressed on. "They’ve found a location… but it’s not certain."Kai’s grip on the glass tightened as his head lifted slightly. Peter stepped closer, holding a tablet in his hands. "There’s an account under the name Margaret Halton. It appears Tiffany used her mother’s maiden name with the addition of her most recent surname. Every transfer into that account was wired through seven intermediary accounts first, all originating from Tiffany’s own account. Recently, there was a significant withdrawal. Two million euros. Five hundred euros were spent at a supermarket, but the bulk of the money went toward purchasing roofs, lighting, and home furniture." He paused, glancing at Kai’s reaction before continuing. "The location tied to the purchase is in Sategate, about two miles from Tiffany’s h

Four days had passed since Tiffany’s disappearance. The air around Kai felt heavier with each day, the weight of her absence pressing against his chest like a vice. As his car pulled up to the grand gates of his father’s mansion, Kai stepped out, his shoulders squared but his heart pounding with exhaustion and frustration. He climbed the marble stairs, the cold stone beneath his feet doing little to calm the fire raging inside him.As he reached the top, a voice pierced the silence, dripping with mockery. "Finally, you've come to see me?" Nolan’s voice rang out. He stood at the top of the staircase, his arms crossed with a smug expression on his face.Kai paused, his jaw tightening. He let out a slow, controlled sigh, refusing to meet his father’s gaze just yet. "I didn’t," he said bluntly, his voice low and tired. "I’m not here to see you. I’m here to rest."Nolan chuckled dryly, shaking his head. "Rest? In my house? After everything you’ve done?" He took a deliberate step closer, h

  • ONLY YOU, NO CONTRACTS.   PLEASE COME HOME

The following day, as the amber hues of dusk painted the sky and the air cooled with the evening, Tiffany sat on the terrace. The faint clinking of tools and murmured voices floated up from the construction site. Her gaze lingered on the workers, her thoughts elsewhere. Beside her, her mother sat silently, her presence was a fragile comfort. It was the third day away from Kai, and the absence felt like an ache she couldn’t soothe.Tiffany had spent the entire day alone. Lizzy and Celine were out, Diego and Juan. The neighbors turned construction workers were busy renovating her home. The solitude was suffocating, and yet, she felt paralyzed by her own emotions. She glanced down at her phone, gripping it tightly. One voicemail sat there, waiting, tempting her with the voice she longed to hear but feared at the same time. Her thumb hovered over the play button, and finally, she pressed it.Kai’s voice spilled through the speaker desperately."Please, love. Please come home. I fucking mi

Celine smiled softly, the same warmth in her eyes that Lizzy had. "Hi, I’m Celine. My mother told me a lot about you."Tiffany didn’t respond. Her lips parted, but no words came out. Her eyes widened and stunned never lifted from Celine’s belly. After a pause that stretched just a second too long, Tiffany blinked and gave a small shake of her head, as though clearing the fog. “I’m… I’m sorry. I’m Tiffany Halton.” Her voice trembled slightly, and she tried to muster a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “My mother— she’s asleep right now. Maybe, uh… another time. I’ll introduce her to you.” A nervous chuckle slipped out, thin and brittle.“Yeah, of course.” Celine glanced around the half-renovated space, her brows knitting slightly. “You know, I don’t think it’s safe for you to stay here while the work’s going on. Our place has a guest wing—you could—”“No, I’m fine,” Tiffany interrupted sharply. She waved a hand. “Really. I just… I’ll need to make some calls soon.” That was a lie

The woman chuckled, her laughter light and kind. "I could tell," she said, her eyes twinkling. "You’ve been holding your belly the whole time. Don’t worry, sweetheart."Tiffany stared at her, the words sinking in like heavy stones. She didn’t know what to say. Her gaze fell to her stomach and there she was, so protective of a life she wanted to get rid of. Her lips trembled as a surge of emotion she couldn’t name bubbled up. Then, suddenly, the words burst out like a dam breaking. "My mother. Thank you very much, but I have to go home to my mother." Her voice was sharp, almost defensive, as if it could shield her from the truth she wasn’t ready to face."You can’t—" Liz began, but the words trailed off as Tiffany’s knees buckled. Liz caught her just in time, her arms firm. her breath hitching as she steadied. Tiffany leaned into her even with her weight heavy and her strength sapped."My mother is alone," Tiffany whispered, her voice more like a plea than a statement. Her hands clut
