ONE MORE CHANCE

When Jack finally found his release, he sent the beautiful escort away and came back to sit with his friends, Bernard and Sam. They cheered loudly for him and all drank to their heart's content. When Jack got back home, it was quite late and he was already tipsy.

He thought he had successfully moved on from Cindy but he began to feel miserable once again. He tried to get her off his mind but couldn't bring himself to do so. In the end, he got into his car in his dull state and drove over to her house.

She was going to hear what he had to say, no matter what and if her stupid boyfriend tried to interrupt, he would beat him to a pulp.

CINDY's POV

I sat on my couch in front of my television. My favorite show was on but my mind was occupied with something else. I only now realized that I had underestimated my feelings for Jack. How could I fall so hopelessly for someone like him in such a short while?
