His family had just bought her foster father's old company building for one of their financial institutions and she had been the one sent to give him the papers.

Everything had turned around from there. Some even said it was love at first sight.

And when her family found out they were going broke, they pushed her to act on her feelings for him, and it worked. However, when her sister walked into the room, everything shifted.

He had said he loved her too, but Sinora knew that things were not going to remain the same. Not with the way he smiled childishly at every one of Madeley's comments.

She looked up at Charles, his hand suspended in the air, his anger frozen in horror at the sight of his father.

"Father." He said, acknowledging the patriarch of their family with reverence.

"Put your hand down now!" Mr. Lucien Belmont, the no nonsense partriarch of the Belmont family ordered his first son.

Mr. Lucien's fragile body shook with rage as he leaned against his cane for support.

The patriarch had always been a strict man, cold, hardened and brutal, but for some reason, he lost his resolve whenever it came to Sinora.

Nobody in his family ever understood what it was about the damn girl that pioneered his reactions whenever she was being maltreated.

Charles stared at his father's withered face, the one person in the world who scared him to death.

He put his hand down, regretful that he had not gotten the chance to finish what he started. His eyes looked Sin up and down menacingly, before he turned around arrogantly and sauntered away.

This was not the first time, and it was definitely not going to be the last. But she had endured so much already, and was willing to endure more if it meant she could keep everyone happy.

"Why do you keep taking it? You could leave, you know." Mr. Lucien asked her in the confines of his bedroom later on. He was just about to turn fifty three, but he looked much older because of his deteriorating health.

Sinora had been the one caring for him from the moment he stopped being able to care for himself. The matriarch, Celeste Belmont, had taken on the responsibility of the family and its business with an iron clad grip. She, just like everyone else, was no particular fan of Sinora, and treated her like a maid.

"Because I have no choice." Sinora muttered simply, as she prepared his medication.

"I've never known another life better than this. Besides, I'm lucky to have a family, a place to call home. Many people don't have that." Sin added, but her eyes betrayed the complacency in her words.

Her auburn hair fell over face suddenly, and she swept it back hastily, exposing the bruise on her cheek to Mr. Lucien's view.

He gripped his knuckles tightly.

"You always have a choice." As she handed him his medication, he took it and after swallowing it, he gripped her hand weakly.

Sinora assumed the medications had started taking effect and so, she sat down in the chair next to his bed.

Mr. Lucien was a tough man, but behind all that, he had fears, monsters that shadowed him whenever he was left alone.

Sinora liked to believe he kept her around because he thought she was a pure soul. Monsters could never stand pure souls after all.

"Sinora -- you have so much power you don't even know about." He said, holding onto her hand in a grip that his weak body assumed was a tight one.

Sinora smiled sadly at the compliment. Power has never been in the hands of the weak, was her silent response everytime he said that to her.

But this time, his tone expressed the words differently, and for the first time, something she had never witnessed before happened-- a tear slid down Mr. Belmont's face.

"Please, forgive me, Sinora for the sin I committed against you. " His words came out as a cry.

The pounding of her heart became evident to her, a crease formed in her forehead.

"What are you talking about, Mr. Lucien? You've never done anything to me before." She asked.

His eyes regarded her with sorrow, because she couldn't understand the magnitude of what he was talking about even if she tried.

"Forgive my family for all the sins we've committed against you. No human being deserves to be treated the way you have been." Tears lingered in her eyes.

In the outside world, the Belmonts were loved, cherished even. For their innovating businesses contributing to the growth of the economy.

They controlled nearly half of Wellington city, they had the city's love and the government"s reverence in their pockets, yet, inside, they had treated her like a slave to satiate their hidden desire for control.

"I always knew you were the one who would destroy us all. We never saw you coming." His words came out suddenly.

Her heart jolted. "Destroy you?" She repeated. "Mr. Lucien, what are you..."

The door to the room was flung open suddenly, and the familiar Dior fragrance filled the air.

Sinora froze in her seat, as if she had done something wrong. Mrs Celeste Belmont had never walked in on them before. In fact, she had steered clear of Mr. Belmont since the moment he fell ill because he demanded his time alone.

The only time the family was ever in the same room was either at breakfast, lunch or dinner and even then, Mr. Lucien Belmont had revered showing up.

Her stylish white Flora Jess two piece suit came into Sinora’s peripheral view and she swallowed.

Mrs Celeste was a beautiful woman, with brown eyes, a thick body and sleek, short blonde hair that she chose to wear in a pixie style today. She was a woman who conmanded attention.

With her, age was an accessory, and if anyone saw her, they would think her time in the limelight was just beginning.

Sinora got up immediately and bowed to the forty nine year old woman. Her eyes catching the world war two antic rug that was Mr. Lucien's favorite.

Mrs Belmont watched her cautiously, her eyes fleeting from her to her husband who laid on the bed now, regarding her coldly.

He knew.

"Wait, what is that on your hand?" Cassian asked, spotting a bright colored bracelet against the dark dress he had given her."It's one of the jewelries you got for me, why?" Sinora asked innocently. He shook his head, "You really are hopeless. Take it off, did you not get the dress code from the color of the dress?" He asked her.She looked at him, unsure, but noting that he wasn't spotting any jewelry himself, save a black diamond ring.Which was weird because she had noted his watch and wrist bands before."Father likes to test people. So, it is best you let him approve of you before you start showing yourself off."Sinora frowned but nodded. They were so much weirder than the Belmonts, she thought to herself. As soon as the doors were opened up for them, Sinora was hit with a sight that she, in her wildest dream would never have imagined, given Cassian’s take of his own family.A very colorful banner fell from the celine, and confetti popped in the air as a horde of people yelled

Cassian looked at her coldly and put his gun down, "That could have been your head."Sinora’s heart continued to pound loudly as she stood there. Her soul had hypothetically left her body. She swallowed, still shaking, and took a second step into the room."What are you doing up at this hour?" He asked, and then he paused, catching sight of her night dress through the corridor light. It was transparent and she was stark naked underneath it, her natural red hair was let loose cascading down her shoulders, and that alone drove him insane. His groins heated up. "I came to talk to you." She shut the door and approached his bed. Cassian sat put, not moving."I don't want to talk to you. Leave.""No" Sinora sat just at the edge, her gray eyes stared intently up at Cassian. He turned away from her, but instead of letting him, she jumped on him, ass on his laps, pinning him in place with both hands at his sides.Cassian's cock throbbed painfully, as he forced it to stay down. Just knowing

"It is amusing, but, Mother, didn't you tell me Sinora was being sold to a criminal lord? Some Dark king to pay off my late father's debt." Madeley informed them.Everyone turned to look at Mrs Anderson, "What do you mean?" Charles asked."The Dark king is a dangerous criminal lord. I mean that she shouldn't be with Cassian, right?""You're right, but, I only gave them the hospital address. However, I never saw them or met with them in person. Hell, I only ever communicated with them over the phone. They could have been human traffickers but I didn't care, as long as we cleared your father's debt, and you got your happy life." Mrs Anderson smiled at her daughter."Maybe Cassian bought her from the criminal lord and married her," Adrien assumed. Charles frowned at the thought of this."But he's broke. Why would he do that? And why would Sinora agree to marry him? The two of them have never interacted before. They barely even shared the same space for less than two minutes, why her?" Ma

The petite girl looked at him, wondering when he was going to react. "Aren't you going to react? She just hit you!" The girl said aloud, as if the shock in the room wasn't palpable enough. Cassian turned to her with a glare hard enough to send one to their grave. He grabbed her by her arm tightly, making her wince under his grip. "Get the fuck out of my house!" He pulled her towards the front door and tossed her there, "make sure the mess is cleaned." Cassian said to Leo as he turned to leave.Cassian walked straight upstairs and to the bedroom where Sinora stood pacing the room, her plan was to leave. She was better off stranded on the streets than stuck in this place, it was obvious this was all just a plan of the Belmonts to keep her trapped."What was that?" Cassian's threatening voice asked from the doorway. Startled, Sinora faced him squarely. His simmering frame towered over her in the doorway. She swallowed before speaking."Why am I here? Why am I really here? Did Charles

"How dare you?!" She raised her hand to hit Sinora, but Sin caught it in a shocking grip, and returned the gesture quickly by pouring years of frustration into a red hot slap across the girl's face. The girl fell to the floor, blood spilling from her lips. Panic seized the girl at the sight of blood flowing from her lips, meanwhile Sin broken into a surreal smile that made her look crazy. "I'll make sure the King deals with you for this!" The girl yelled, scrambling off the floor. She ran out of the room with her ass shaking behind her."Where are you going, huh?! Come on back!!!" Sinora yelled out like a crazy woman. "Aaaaargggghhh!!" She screamed into the silence, her frustration biting into her skin like ants. She tossed the brush aside, took one look at the messed up room and walked out.Cassian Blackwood sat in his relief room, with a couple of his guys who were busy playing cards, relaxing and smoking a cigar. Cassian pulled her panties off and wiped his hand with it and then tossed it on the floor.Sin noted this with revulsion. Did he hate women? Or did he just love demeaning them?He took off his shirt, revealing heavy biceps and abs, Sinora swallowed. He was completely ripped. And on top of that, he had the face of god like man.It was hard to tear her gaze away from him. He caught her eyes, holding them in a heated confrontational stare for a moment, before turning away coldly. It was when he pulled off his pants and a huge bulge in his shorts came up that Sinora turned away painfully. She was not ready to have that image burnt into her mind just yet."My turn," she heard Cassian's deep voice command the girl. With a squeal of excitement, the girl, fully naked, took his huge cock into her mouth for what to Sinora felt like the most painful five minutes of her life. Her head bopped up and down, while Cassian leaned back and savored the pleasure.Watching him was both enchanting and torm
