Chapter 17 - Will he let me go ?
° Valentina POV °
Did he just fight for me? But why ? At one point he says I'm not important to him. And then the second minute, he tries to kill a waiter as he touches me inappropriately.
"Because you are hurt and you aren't letting me fend for it."
I said to him through my tears when he asked me why I was crying. I guess he thought I was crying because I was scared. But why would I be scared when he saved me?
"Ok, ok, here's it."
I looked up at him as he forwarded his bloody hand to me. The knuckles were bruised up with dried blood. My eyes welled with more tears thinking how much hurt he has to go through just because of me.
I got my bag and took out the bandages. It's most appropriate now till we reach home. I put the bandages on his knuckles and then dusted off his full sleeve shirt which was dirty.
