In the twin pearls, Nikolai was already awake when he received Shawn's call.

"Alright, I am coming" he replied, careful not to wake Ivy.

He wanted to leave and not raise her hopes up. But he knows that last night was her first time and she might be hurt if he left before she woke up. Despite his initial hesitation, he didn't wake her or left before she woke up. He already showered and is ready in a black suit with a white shirt underneath. He paired it with a checkered patterned tie. He is sitting on a lounge chair in her room while replying to a few of his emails.

By the time Ivy woke up, she found him sitting right across the bed and working on his phone. She sat up immediately, remembering what happened last night. Her face flamed red with shyness. But her shyness became a frown when she remembered how he reacted the first two times they were together. She started to mentally prepare herself to face his displeasure like the first two times.
