Sally worked in the kitchen for one and a half hours.

As she served the last dish of the evening, she glanced at it with satisfaction before turning around and trotting over to Elijah. "I'm done. Would you like to eat it now or later?"

The woman's sweet voice traveled into his ears, causing Elijah to lightly lift his thin lips. "Now."
