Author POV:- It was coming into autumn. Trees' leaves were turning a variety of shades - gold, orange, red, and some remained green, but not for long. Some trees were starting to become bare whilst others still tried to flourish. The ground was covered in dead leaves. Piles of leaves were scattered all over campus - you really couldn't go a day without seeing maintenance raking up newly-fallen leaves. The tree outside of his window was almost completely bare, except for a few lone leaves that were clinging on for dear life. Liam loved that tree. In the Spring and Summer it provided him with shelter from unwanted eyes when he wasn't bothered to close his blinds (He rarely closed his blinds). There had been countless times when he lad lain on his bed staring at the tree and the sky beyond it. At nighttime, he gazed up at the stars, feeling insignificant. As he admired the shining constellations, he'd find himself questioning his entire existence. That's when he would jump up off of hi
Author POV:- As they reached Allen house, Liam quickly glanced at his phone as Allen made her way up the steps to her room - it was nearing 4am at this stage. Allen called down to him then, "See you tomorrow!" and Liam had waved, nodding - it was a given that they would inevitably see each other on the following day. Not one day had passed since they had met when they hadn't seen each other. And as Liam had turned away to make his way back to his hpuse, he couldn't pin-point how or why, but something had changed between them. 'But Alexandra.' 'Maybe it's best for all of them.' So here he was, a week or so after their adventure into the city under darkness, wondering what had changed. He'd become more aware of certain aspects of Allen behaviour, like how she would throw her head back violently when she laughed, and the back of her hand would cover hier mouth in a bashful attempt to hide her wider-than-normal smile. He noticed just how pink and plump her lips were, and how on days wh
Author POV:- The first month was passing at an alarming rate. It was the first week of December and Liam was swamped with assignments. So much so that he had barely seen Allen, or anyone else for that matter, in two weeks. When he had last seen Allen, Allen had suggested going to a party with Alexandra. Liam had declined the invitation at first, using his studies as an excuse, but Allen had then told him that Alexandra is not going, and he accept the invite. Allen told him how Alexandra spend most of her time with the new pup, Lucus. Allen also try to ask him what's going on with him and Alexandra but Liam say a word. After the dean annocement it's become clear that Alexandra is going to leave. John already forgive him and tell him to just let thing go as they are going. Allen was in her usual place, lying on Liam bed as Liam sat at his desk, paying him little mind when Allen had casually announced that she had pulled at a party she had attended when she is in highshool. Everything
Author POV:: "Do you like it?" Liam asked, and he winced at how small he sounded in his question. But Allen was nodding eagerly, and then she was standing up, reaching for his laptop. "I can show you the best choreography for it," Allen said eagerly as she searched through her laptop, eyes darting across the screen, "In the living room.." Not only was Liam about to witness how Allen had interpreted his track for choreography. She set up her laptop, plugged the usb into the speakers in the living room, and seated Liam on one of the couches facing the open space of the living area. "Let's set the mood," Allen grinned as she switched off the main light and switched on a lamp in the corner, casting shadows around the room. Liam could't help but feel like he was about to witness a strip-show, and said so to Allen, who had responded by throwing her head back in laughter. Allen hit play on her laptop, and Liam track began filtering through the speakers. After the video, she showed him
Author POV:- "You treat me like I'm made of glass," Allen giggled after Liam had kissed her temple, and the Alpha joined in on her laughter. He was afraid that if he pushed too hard and did too much, the Omega would simply shatter. "Have you really always wanted to kiss me?" Allen asked quietly, a contemplative look on her face. "You should've kissed me sooner," she teased, and Liam pulled away from her just so he could smack her arm, tutting. As the temperature kept dropping as the early morning came closer and each others' body heat was no longer a substantial source of warmth, they left the park, and found their way back onto the main street. The streets were quiet, except for a select few drunkards here and there, which was to be expected the ending of the month is near and the final list is already ready but Jason is still not summit it to dean because Alexandra still didn't give her name. When they reached their destination, it was Allen who walked Liam to his house this time
Author POV:-They went out onto the balcony, and Liam welcomed the fresh air, even if it was shockingly cold outside. Allen hand was resting on the small of Liam back as Liam leaned against the barrier and looked out across the city. "I needed to breakaway or else I was going to pass out," Liam explained, and Allem giggled as she joined Liam leaning on the balcony's barrier. They gazed out across the buildings that shone in the night, and Allen allowed her head to fall onto Liam shoulder."You should stay here tonight," Allen whispered suggestively to Liam, her lips almost brushing against Liam ear as the hairs on Liam neck stood upright.Liam froze for a moment as he mulled over the implications of Allen invitation. He knew they were both drunk, and if he were to guess, Allen was more intoxicated than she was, if her earlier excursion on the dance floor was anything to go by. Liam turned to Omega, "If I am staying in yours, Allen, I want us to sober up."Allen frowned, confused, and
