Omega Rejection

Alexandra POV:-

I am Alexandra Madden, 14 years old.

Today I am so excited and nervous that I am finally going to present today.

I really want to know how they will present me. My friends are all gifted in different ways; some are alpha, some are beta, and one is even an omega, and I aspire to be just like them.

My best friend Sebestian is Alpha. Sebestian and I grew up in an orphanage; I don't know who my parents are, and Sebestian's parents were murdered by humans when he was only five years old.

Sebestian hates humans, but he loves me, and I've also got a little crush on my best friend.

Everyone in our group already accepts him as our pack Alpha; we have our own little pack, and I heard when Sebetian talks about how he is going to expand his own pack when he goes to university. My second friend, Damon, who is also an Alpha, he is sweet and kind, but he also has a strong side. My third friend is beta; her name is Zia, and my fourth friend is Allen, who is an Omega. They always say I will present as an omega. I constantly get compliments  how cute I am. But I really don't like being called "cute." I want to become physically attractive and strong as well, similar to my best friend Sebestian.

I want to present myself as an Omega for Sebestian.

"Seb?" I look toward my best friend, who is sitting by my side.

"What happens if I'm not an Omega? What if I present as an Alpha? Do you guys hate me?"

My other friends are looking at each other when I ask this, but I keep my head bowed so I can't see them. All of a sudden, I experience a bear hug covering my entire body.

"Awww, our AL, it doesn't matter if you are an Omega or not." "Because you are our friend, we will always love you." Allen said and everyone nodded their head.

"Yes, AL, I'm always by your side no matter what." Sebestian said, which made me smile.

"Remember AL. We all only for each other, and we're never going to leave any of us behind." Damon continue.

I nod my head but start to wriggle as Sebestian squeezes me even tighter while tickling me.

We meet three of them in our first year of high school, and they, like us, don't have any parents. We only have each other.

"Alexandra Madden!"

I turn to face Sebestian.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. In the future, we are going to become a badass pack."

We all nodded our head and I smiled at him.

We all always support Sebestian, no matter what.

Now let me tell you about the wolf presentation process. So when a wolf reaches the age of 14, the Moon Stone will put them to the test, and the outcome will determine whether they will be an alpha, a beta, or a omega. There is a fourth presenter, but rumor has it that they haven't appeared in years.

It's called a pure white wolf.

The wolf won't be able to shift until they are 14 years old, which is also the first time they will meet their fated partner.

The Alpha would always receive preferential treatment because he is at the top of the food chain. However, being a Alpha entails a lot of responsibility. Beta, on the other hand, would usually play a supporting role, either as an assistant or a subordinate.

But there are numerous instances in which a beta can triumph over an alpha. not in terms of power, though. But in other circumstances, like the economy or public opinion, nothing can be done because the Alpha population was wiped out by the Beta population.

The vast majority of alphas stay close to home, defending and upholding their own communities. They rarely leave their community because doing so comes with a lot of responsibility. And if they do go out, it's only to experience things before coming back to the safety of the pack.

Betas have more freedom, though. They have the choice of staying with the pack or going it alone. Most of them have succeeded, successfully adjusting to life among humans. Some individuals choose to wed their partners.

They are all being matched with potential partners by the Moon Godness. When they turn eighteen, they'll begin committed relationships. Nothing, absolutely nothing, can stand in the way of their relationship.

They all straighten up in front of Elder.

Alexandra can't help herself; her heart is racing like a crazy sports car, and everyone is cheering her on who present on her side.

Her special person and best friend Sebestian. They are all trying hard to calm her down.

But Alexander can't help.

What is she going to present?

A Alpha?

A Omega?

Or

A Beta?

She became even more nervous when the Moonstone was presented to her.

A moon stone is a one-of-a-kind stone with the ability to destroy any powerful pack.

"Please assist the wolf pack in identifying its identity, Goddess of the Moon." Alexandra expresses her gratitude to the moon.

"Please recite the color I need to be in order to become an Omega."

"You are a good person Alexandra. Your strengths are anticipated by the Moon Goddess, who will reward you appropriately." Alexander said as herself.

Damon and others tried hard to control his laugh, but Sebestian just smacked Damon head.

"Shut up, idiot, she's just nervous." Sebastian said, and he held Alexandra's hand even tighter.

Alexandra wrinkles her nose when her best friend playfully pinches her. She gave her favorite not so deadly glare to Damon, who just laughed at her even more.

"AL, go now." "It's your turn now." Allen mumbles to her which makes Alexander nodded her head.

Alexander head snapped back. With the assistance of one older lady, she went to the stage and grinned at her friends; they waved towards her and kept cheering her up. Without them, Alexandra will be doomed.

The Elder came and smiled towards her. He took Alexandra right hand and guided her towards the stone.

"My child, please close your eyes and inhale deeply." "Good luck! You will get what goodness has in store for you."

Alexandra nod in agreement and smile briefly at the elder. She slowly put her hand on the stone while closing her eyes and inhaling deeply. She had assumed that the surface would be smoother than it is.

But as soon as her fingers touch it, a rush of energy fills her chest. This new sensation has her giddy with excitement, and the warmth of it is erupting from within her body. It started at her head and slowly moved up her arm and leg.

Alexandra was able to think clearly for a brief period before hearing something.

"My children's, please accept my warm welcome. That my cherished children have found a good person to call their own gives me great relief. She'll open her eyes, and you will all know her true identity,"

"My child. Open your eyes," the Elder said and Alexandra open her eyes slowly.

Their was pin-drop silence throughout the hall, with no one saying anything.

Alexandra turned to face her friends, who were staring at her with wide eyes.

It's impossible and the Elders are all shocked too. They know Alexandra will be unable to touch the Moonstone if she is......

If she is human...

Alexandra is visibly upset and confused by her friends and the Elder's response. 

Except for Sebestian, every one of her friends appeared on stage in front of Elder.

"Tell me something, Elder." "What's going on?" Damon asks as he approaches Elder.

Alexandra is now even more confused, what is going on and why everyone came on the stage, except Sebestian.

Alexandra looks towards Sebestian, who is still in shock.

"What happen?" She asked this time, and everyone gave her a sympathetic look.

The Elder looked toward her and the Moon Stone.

"You don't present Alexandra." Zia said, and Alexadra looked toward her.

"What do you mean?" Alexandra asks in confusion.

"It means you're a human my child; you're not a wolf."

"You came from a human family."

Alexandra's eyes widened as she turned to face her best friend, who was not staring at her.

"Seb.."

Alexandra was about to say something when Sebestian growled at her and stormed out.

"Sebestian wait..." Damon said as he hurriedly followed him.

Zia and Allen gave Alexandra a look and followed the Alpha's.

Alexandra was still in shock; she doesn't understand what's going on.

She saw how all her friends left her alone when she needed them the most.
