I shot up, feeling light-headed immediately. “What the hell are you doing here?” I asked him in disbelief. He grinned. All teeth as he casually perched on the side of my bed. My gaze flicked to the opened window sill and back to him. “I guess I am entitled to meet my mate even though she ran away,” he replied. His grin was intact on his lips. But his eyes said a whole different story. He was mad. 

I levelled him with a glare. “Well, someone made it clear that I was only a good fuck.” Damian for his part did not flinch or look remorseful. I don’t even know if he is capable of feeling emotions like these. But he rolled his eyes. “Why do you tend to misinterpret anything I say? Did I tell you that? I said it’s Andrew who wants us to stay apart until things cool down or I have them under control.
