Mother stared grimly at me. “Why did you not tell us that you found your mate and an...omega at that.” The way she uttered the word made it sound like it was something derogatory which made me clench my fists. But knowing my mother, I remained quiet. She wasn’t the kindest mother or a motherly figure to begin with. Therefore, arguing with her was meaningless.
