I ran away from there after I was done thinking about what I should do. Hiding sounded like the best option.

First, I went to Striker’s room, thinking he couldn’t find me there. He would not think I was hiding under his nose.

When I entered, I found Amanah instead. She was commanding the maids, getting his room cleaned in a hurry.

I sighed in relief. “ Amanah! ”

She turned to me as I rushed to her and took my dose of hug support. She was a good friend of mine, I could find much-needed comfort here.

“ Go outside. ” She told the maids who were watching us with their wide eyes and open mouths.

These people really overreacted to everything. Pulling away from Amanah, I saw all the maids leaving one by one.

“ I told you, Lady Lana. You should stick by His Highness’ side tonight. ” She whispered when the last maid exited and closed the door.

“ I kind of…messed things up with Striker again. I need to hide immediately or he is going to come and… ” Kiss me again. Probably.
