Chapter 32 - Let her Go

His cold shower took too long. When he finally stepped out with only a towel wrapped around his torso, I instantly went back to pretending to sleep. He shouldn’t know that I was waiting for him impatiently.

“ Are you going to sleep in my bed? ” He asked.

I heard the soft rustle of clothes and cracked my left eye open to peek at him. He was pulling his pants up while his eyes stared right at my face.

Gulping, I closed my half-open eye again. What was I doing exactly? At this point, my tiny brain failed to comprehend this on its own.

“ I know you are not sleeping, Lana. ” He hissed, strolling toward me.

I didn’t budge and kept lying right there. It was not my problem that he knew too many things.

I felt his body close to mine, and the sparks shot down my bloodstream. Shivering, I tried to slip a little away but he crawled onto the bed and hovered above me. This had me caged on the spot.

His cold fingers traced my forehead, brushing the bangs aside.
