TOMMY

“Come in,” I ordered when I heard the small knock on the door.

Mason entered and gently shut it.

I looked up from my computer, focusing my attention on him.

“How was it?”

Mason sighed and shook his head.

“Unfortunately, we couldn't get him to invest. He mentioned loads of crap. But it's not far-fetched that he is doing this as a way to repay us for failing to sell the building to him.” Mason reported.

I sighed and rubbed my face. I was already burdened with a lot of things and an idiot elsewhere was attacking me because of this?

“Alright. Thank you. You can let him go. Let's move to the next person.” I replied with the little strength left in me.

Mason nodded while I continued scrolling on my computer, my eyes staring intently at the screen.

Apart from my inability to get investors, something was still causing me greater worries.

Mason moved closer to where I was sitting to take a peek at the screen.

“Have you been able to get anything? Any movement n

Tommy..“Follow me,” I grunted, raising myself off the chair.Gerard didn’t hide it. His gaze hardened, his lips pressed into a thin line.Something shifted in me. But I tried to swallow whatever that was down. It wasn’t going to be of any help to me.Liam followed behind, shutting the door after us. We walked down the narrow hallway that had still not been touched by the workers. We entered another room.“Close the door,” I said, leaning against the desk and crossing my legs.Liam shut the door harder than necessary.Silence treated every corner of the office as he just stared at me, eyes narrowed, brows furrowed.I threw a brow up. “You said you have something to say to me…say it.”Liam hissed. “I knew you wouldn’t keep to your words.”I forced a smirk. “What are you talking about?” I asked.“Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about?” His jaw ticked. My stomach tightened. Guess you can’t really run away from your problem. It sits and waits right for you to return. I r

Tommy..The silence stretched, long and gnawing. Liam didn’t move, he just stood there, staring at me, as though he was really waiting for me to make him give me the key.Heat— hot and ugly—stirred in me. “If you don’t give me the key, I swear to God you will never hear from me again.” My voice was steady in a way that made my stomach twist. “Ever.”His brow twitched, his hands dipping further into his pocket.“I’ll block and delete your number,” I continued, “friend, brother, I'd erase everything. And we’ll go back to what we were.” My voice turned glacial. “You being that boy from the orphanage.”Liam’s eyes widened, and the black in his eyes shrank. The way his breath changed, the way his jaw tightened, they all made my skin tug tight.“To—” Liam began.“I don’t want to hear any more from you,” I cut him off, “just hand over the key.”Liam scowled. “I’ll give it to you, only one condition,” he began, “you don’t avoid me after this.”I snorted. “You think you’re in a position to

Tommy..My eyes jumped between Liam and Madeline, before finally resting on her.“So this is it?” I asked. “Isn’t this unethical? Lying to a patient?”Madeline arranged her glasses and exhaled. “I didn’t lie,” she said, her voice annoyingly calm. “Today is indeed your last session, and after the session, you can sign your discharge.” I raised my brows and my lips parted. But like she already knew what I was about to say, she responded first.“And Liam also needs this,” she said, “both of you need it. And your therapist, it is my job to make sure you’re properly treated.” The air thickened as I glared at her.“If you want this to end as soon as possible,” Madeline said, “I advise you to sit.”Liam rounded the sofa and dropped onto it, his hands resting on his thighs, the key buried deep in his pocket.I stood for a while, my eyes still flickering both of them, and in the pocket. I remembered the way Liam had pinned me that day, and I could barely get out of his grip. That meant I c

TOMMY..A few days had passed, and I found myself heading back to Gerard’s place after work. It almost felt like it was a second home.Today was no different. Even though it was the weekend, I was back at Gerard’s place. I was so comfortable sitting on his bed shirtless, my bare back pressing into the bed board.Gerard moved around, laptop in his hand, his fingers punching the keyboard.“You know you could sit down here and type,” I said, crossing my hands.Gerard glanced at me. “If I sit next to you, I’ll doubt I’ll be able to finish,” he said, his fingers still dancing on the keyboard. “Are you calling me a distraction?” I arched my brows. He paused and then tilted his head sideways to look at me. “What I’m saying is I’d rather cuddle than type, and staying next to you, only makes me notice that more.”I almost smiled. “That’s what a distraction means.”“Is that?” Gerard smirked. My eyes trailed his body frame. Followed his narrow waist that swung as he paced around.I wanted to

GERARD..Driving Tommy to work felt… domestic. That was the word my brain spent the last ten minutes searching for, trying to describe the warmth that settled in my chest.I hummed, my head swaying slightly as we blurred past the city. The sun rays fell across his face, softening him in a way I couldn’t describe.“Do you want me to pick you up?” I asked, my smile widening.Tommy glanced at me through the corner of his eyes, and then his lips twitched. “You’re enjoying this more than I thought.” He had no idea how good this felt.“If you enjoy being my driver for today,” he said, “I don’t mind.”Driver, he’d said. But with the way his eyes glinted, I was almost sure he could feel what I was feeling.Spending the night together, waking up, showering, fucking, and driving to work together. These were things couples do.My grip around the steering wheel tightened, as I fought the urge to reach over and kiss him. The only thing stopping me was that if I did, we’d both end up in a car cr

TOMMY..Four days had slipped by, and I was at Gerard’s place, lying on his bed like I actually belonged here. My body was covered with hickeys, my muscles trembling with the sweet pull of climax. The door swung open, and Gerard stepped in.“Here,” he said, handing me a glass of water. “How’re you feeling?” My pupils darted to the corners of my eyes as I narrowed my gaze. “You should have thought about that before fucking me all night.”Gerard smiled, his eyes lingering on me as I drank the cup of water.I handed it back, and he dropped it on the bedside drawer. He crawled back into the bed and wrapped his arms around me. “You’ve been acting all different.”“Different?” I arched my brow.“Mmhhh” he pressed his body into mine. “Since that day you left your house.”My throat tightened, and a gulp went down my throat. I hadn’t told him about Liam trying to kiss me, or what Madeline had said. Fuck there was no need to say that. Madeline had no idea what she was saying.“So are you go
