Veyra

The silence stretches for a while after their words settle around me, wrapping around the room like a soft, slow fog. Pregnant. The idea still feels too large to hold in my hands. I’m not even sure I know how to feel about it, though something deep inside me has already accepted it. My hands rest lightly on my stomach as if they’ll feel something there, some shift or spark or sign of change. But there’s nothing but warmth and the soft press of fabric.

Still, I remember what they said. The hum. The bond. That feeling Rael had when something clicked into place.

I close my eyes, shutting out the world, letting my thoughts drift downward, beneath the ache of my body and the exhaustion still lingering in my bones. I breathe slowly, steadily, as I try to reach inside myself, past the pain, past the confusion, past the flood of everything that’s happened.

At first, there’s nothing.

Then a ripple.

A faint sensation, so quiet I almost miss it. It’s not like the bond I share with them, no

  • Rejected And Disowned Now Claimed By Four Ruthless Alphas   Waking

VeyraThe air is still and warm when I open my eyes, soft with the weight of dusk slipping in through the drawn curtains. For a moment, I don’t move. My mind floats somewhere between dream and waking, heavy with the fog of sleep, wrapped in a quiet that doesn’t feel entirely natural. This isn’t my room. I can feel it in the sheets, the unfamiliar scent, the hum of magic that doesn’t belong to me curling at the edges of the walls. The ceiling above me is painted a soft ivory, the texture old but well-kept. There’s no sharp scent of blood or smoke, no tension in the air. It’s peaceful almost too peaceful.I push myself up slowly, my muscles groaning in protest, the soreness sinking deep into my bones. Every movement reminds me of what came before, of the storm that burst from my chest, of the way Sethen’s body hit the wall, of the magic I poured into the room until I could barely stand. I remember taking his wolf, stripping him bare, leaving him nothing but skin and regret. Then nothing

  • Rejected And Disowned Now Claimed By Four Ruthless Alphas   Something Beneath

Rael POVThe car hums beneath us, tires gliding across gravel and then onto smoother roads, the forest slipping away behind us like a memory too sharp to hold for long. Veyra’s head rests on my shoulder, her breath soft and steady. I don’t think she meant to fall asleep, not after everything, not with how tense she’d been in the house. But her body gave out the moment we left those walls behind. She’s curled in on herself, arms tucked close to her chest like she’s trying to shield something fragile inside her. I brush her hair back, fingers slow, and stare out the window for a while before I speak.“We need a plan for the trials.”The words cut through the quiet like a stone breaking still water. Dagen, sitting across from me, glances over. His eyes are tired but alert. He nods once.“Agreed. We can’t leave it open like this,” he says. “The Alphas are expecting structure, and the Omegas... they need more than a promise of change. They need to see it.”I shift slightly to keep Veyra co

  • Rejected And Disowned Now Claimed By Four Ruthless Alphas   Her Request

VaneThere’s a silence that settles in the aftermath, one that feels too heavy to breathe through. Sethen lies in a heap on the cold stone floor, unmoving, barely recognizable as the man who used to strut through halls like he owned the stars themselves. His power is gone. His title, his wolf, his legacy, stripped and scattered like ashes in the wind. And Veyra, standing over him, doesn’t look like a girl who needs anyone’s permission to lead anymore.I watch her from across the room, arms folded, jaw tight. The red in her eyes has faded, but the fire hasn’t. Not even close. There’s a pressure radiating from her that makes my own wolf stir beneath my skin, not in fear, but in something far more dangerous, respect. She did it. She ended him without needing claws or a blade. She didn’t break his bones or bleed him out. She just... took what made him who he was and left the rest behind. And god, it was terrifying. But it was also perfect.Dagen steps closer to her, saying something too l

  • Rejected And Disowned Now Claimed By Four Ruthless Alphas   Her Punishment

Maddox POVShe’s still standing there, breath heaving, her eyes rimmed with red but burning bright. There’s blood smeared across her fingers, her chest rising and falling like she’s been holding herself back from tearing him apart for far too long. And Sethen, he’s on the floor, barely moving, more a heap of cloth and trembling limbs than the proud Alpha he pretended to be for years.I look at her. Not the girl who used to flinch when her name was called, not the fighter from the trials who kept holding back. This is someone else now. Someone made whole by fury and fire and the unspoken grief that’s been festering in her chest since the day she realized she was never going to be enough for him.“What do you want, Veyra?” I ask, and my voice feels too loud in the sudden silence. She doesn’t answer right away. Her lips part, then press together again. Her gaze moves from me to the others, then slowly drops to the man crumpled on the stone floor. She studies him like she’s trying to deci

  • Rejected And Disowned Now Claimed By Four Ruthless Alphas   Hurting Him

Veyra POVHe’s pinned so hard against the wall that his spine is trembling beneath the weight of my magic, and still it doesn’t feel like enough. I can see it in his eyes, the confusion that flickers there first, followed quickly by disbelief, then a crawling horror that settles in his expression as he realizes I’m not a ghost. I’m not a figment. I’m real. I’m alive. And I’m angry.I step forward, never breaking my gaze from his face. He’s breathing like a trapped animal, shallow and fast, but his body is locked tight by the invisible force of my magic wrapping around him like steel. My blood pulses in my ears, a steady roar I can’t quiet, not when everything inside me is spiraling.I should be shaking. I should be unraveling, undone by the weight of this moment, but I’m not. I feel stronger than I ever have. Like I’m not just Veyra anymore, not just the girl who used to beg this man for approval. I’m the storm he tried to bottle, the fury he tried to tame. And now I’ve broken free.I
