Thoughts and regrets.

Anastasia’s POV.

I suddenly felt pain all over my body, causing a groan to escape my mouth. I cracked my eyes open and found out that I had fallen from the horse's back to the hard forest ground. I must have dozed off …

Sigh…

I managed to stand up to my feet as my gaze scanned my new surroundings. No doubt , I was still in the forest; a deeper part of it. Although, the spot I was standing in was clearer; with just a few shrubs and some dried leaves scattered around, I still felt a bit apprehensive about my surroundings. This is still a forest, cleared or not.

The neighing of the horse startled me a little. I had almost forgotten about the poor lad. It looks so tired, we must have been travelling for a while now. Of course, we have, that explains the dark skies and the twinkling stars above; it was nightfall. If not for the almost-full moon that was shining humbly, I would have had to deal with finding my way around total darkness.

I can't keep moving, especially now when my horse needs
