“You can't just adjourn my meeting? It's important.” I complained. This time I was already on my feet. Father cannot do this.

“I need to speak to my daughter so the meeting is adjourned until next time.” He turned to Linda and said, “You, fix another day for the meeting”

Linda bowed and began to search her tablet, but I stood still upset,

“You cannot just adjourn meetings like this. We are discussing the annual events of the company.”

“That's good,” he smiled before reaching for a seat. George pulled it out for him and he sat.
