Chapter Fourteen

Luciano

I heard the doorbell ring so I groaned.

"Dario! Answer the door!" I yelled before going back to my work. I typed away on my laptop before the doorbell rang again.

I stood up before grabbing my gun from off my desk. I swear to God I'm killing this annoying motherfucker.

I opened the door before pointing my gun at the man in front of me. A man that I thought I'd never see again. Because he's dead.

"Marroquín." He said with a heavy accent lacing his words.

"Viktor." I said before letting my gun down.

"It looks like you've seen a ghost." He said before laughing. "Did you think it was over American?" He asked and I clenched my jaw.

"Thought what was over?" I asked and he smiled before entering the house.

"Come on, let's cut the bullshit. I know you or your brother tried to kill me." He said and I flared my nostrils.

"It wasn't you, if you're Luciano. You never miss, it is a known thing. Everybody knows Lucifer never misses a shot." He said and I blankly looked at him.
