NORA'S POV

" So what are we making?" Jason asked as he released me from the hug

" I really don't know.....I just got a bunch of things" I said to him.

" You know what...why don't you just sit and watch me while I put something together for the three of us" he said as he began walking towards the kitchen counter

" Are you sure?" I asked

" I am positive" he replied firmly as he began unpacking the paper bag.

As I watched him, thoughts of Katie came flooding in . Thoughts of how she wants me to introduce her to Jason.

" What's going through your head?" Jason asked, interrupting my wandering thoughts

" Nothing much, ....I was just wondering if you have someone that you're seeing" I replied him as casually as possible

" Why?...do you have someone for me?" He asked in return

"No I don't " I replied almost immediately. There is absolutely no way that I would introduce him to Katie. Over my dead body.

    NORA'S POV I brushed off the hair on Duke's face as he turned beside me. He had dozed off as soon as we landed at the airport in Del Mar and right now we were in a cab heading for my father's house. He had been surprised when I told him that we would be taking a little trip out of town. This was the second time he'd ever get on a plane so he was very excited about it especially since I told him that we were going to visit his grandfather.
