When Samuel walked into his room, he sighed, knowing he had lied to his mother about his feelings for Helen. Samuel knew his interest in Helen had piqued after he heard some of her colleagues laughing at her and calling her a "virgin nerd." It was unexpected that a young woman of Helen's age was still a virgin. Why hadn't she had a boyfriend? It wasn't as if Samuel was a saint in that area.
