"Wow! That was close! I hadn't expected the crowd. Oh no! I didn't get this from the Kingstons," Helen said, after Senator Jerry had left with his security escort. Her heart was still pounding so loud in her chest.

Mrs. Rosemary smiled at her daughter and replied, "It's fine, Helen. What matters is that you saved your father's life."

"Alright, Mom," Helen breathed out heavily. Just then, she got a message alert that her food had arrived, but she was nervous to leave the hospital room.

"I will help you get it, sister," Patrick offered, as he was relieved to see his father was fine and better. The physiotherapist doctor had come to check on him and said he would resume his physiotherapy the following day before he got discharged from the hospital.

Helen was grateful as she gave her older brother her phone to receive the two meals that she had ordered. She ordered one for him and for herself, since her parents had already eaten. She saw that her father's illness had taken a toll on Patrick, compared to the rest of their older brothers who were battling for their father's wealth.

Once Patrick left the room, Mr. Henry spoke to Helen once more, "Helen, I know that it's overwhelming for you, but you should consider what I said when you get back to the university."

"Okay, Dad," Helen replied calmly as she watched her father lie on the bed. Compared to his previous pale complexion, he looked vibrant and full of life.

*I need to thank Samuel Kingston, but will he want to associate with me now? What if brother Patrick is right and Samuel will not want to get close to me again? I didn't know that his father is the Kingston Pharmaceutical CEO. I was thinking it was someone else.* Helen pondered, unaware that her brother had returned with the meals until his deep voice startled her, "Here's your meal, sister."

"Thank you, bro." Helen forced a tight smile at her brother, and she gave him one of the takeaway meals. "Here's your meal," she said with a smile.

"Thanks, but I will soon be leaving for my home. However, the security men will be here to keep watch on Dad. I have already alerted them to watch the nurse and doctor from now on."

"Okay," Helen smiled with relief, feeling proud to see her father was okay.

As she sat on the chair and ate her dinner while her mother settled on another seat in the private hospital room, Helen pondered how she would reach out to Samuel and thank him for his help.

At Dr. Peter's office, he made a call to Mr. Noah Kingston and apologized, "I am sorry, sir. I did everything you asked me to do, but miraculously, the man's daughter brought the potent stroke medicine and cured him."

Mr. Noah was in the living room of his vast mansion, awaiting his son's arrival, as he had sent his butler and some bodyguards to go and bring Samuel over.

"Mm…" Mr. Noah breathed out heavily and said, "It's fine. I will handle it myself. You focus on your job and go back to your normal work and treat him well."

"Okay, sir. Thank you," Dr. Peter said, breathing heavily as the call ended. He called his wife to be sure that she was fine, as well as his son and his daughter. He knew that he couldn't dare to leak the truth to anyone, but he was restless and wishing his path had nothing to do with a man like Mr. Noah Kingston.

Meanwhile, Samuel was silent as the black Bentley drove ahead to his father's house.

Once the car arrived, he got out of the car and walked into the living room, expecting to see his mother, but surprisingly, his father stood there dressed in black and exuding a frosty aura.

"Good evening, Dad," Samuel greeted his father with a calm voice, and his father set down the glass of wine that he was slowly gulping and glared at him.

"Samuel, what was our arrangement—that you would keep your talent undercover? Why did you help that young woman? Are you interested in her?" Mr. Noah asked his son, his expression cold as he settled on a black couch across from his son.

Samuel smiled and replied, "I am not interested in her."

"Then why did you leak our business and give her the potent stroke cure? Didn't I forbid you to not create any medicine in the university?" Mr. Noah's expression was chilling, but Samuel smiled and replied, "Dad, you are accusing me wrongly. I didn't give her directly. It was still on trial, because I hadn't made that type before. So I agreed for it to be tested on her father because he was sick."

"How much did you collect for it?"

"Nothing." Samuel replied calmly, unfazed by his father's frosty demeanor.

"Samuel, how many times did I tell you? You need to keep off from that young woman from today henceforth and not help any student or show them your talent. If that happens, you will be transferred to a new college. So keep off from going against me. Is that understood? I will have my men keep their eyes on you. Just keep to the rules, and you are free to do as you please," Mr. Noah said, his mood calming down.

"Dad," Samuel mumbled and said, "I am an adult, and I have the right to make my own decision."

Mr. Noah glared at his son, his lips sealed as he didn't reply. "You know the consequences of going against me. Don't push my buttons."

Samuel didn't say anything, but his mother rushed in, as she had gone for a few groceries shopping.

"Samuel, oh my goodness! I hadn't thought that you would arrive home. Why did you go against your father to help the Roberts' CEO? Didn't you know that they are affecting our stock and selling cheaper goods at the market? How can you be so naughty, and if at all you want to help anyone, why those that are against our business?" Stacey ranted as she stood, pulling her son's ear playfully as a sign of punishment.

"Mom, it wasn't intentional. Where is Ruth?" Samuel asked about his younger sister who had just graduated from high school.

"Ruth is fine. Getting ready for her entrance examination, but she will not be joining you in the department of science. She is going for business administration to be able to manage your father's other business," Stacey said, as she walked away with Samuel following her to the kitchen.

"That's fine. So she is not at home?"

"No. She went to my sister's place. You shouldn't provoke your father. If the other people learn about your talent, they will want to steal it and use it to establish themselves. So stay on the low and not make the same mistake again. I can remember when your father was poor. These people didn't want to help him, but now that they see that he's doing well, they are looking for every means to pull him down. You shouldn't be his enemy," Stacey spoke with a soft voice as she looked at her handsome son, who was taller than her and had a striking resemblance to his father.

"I understand, Mom. I will not make the same mistake twice."

"That reminds me. That girl I saw on the news—the Roberts' daughter—is she your girlfriend? Why did you help her with your new remedy for stroke?" Stacey asked, her brows furrowed, as she didn't want Helen as her future daughter-in-law.

"No, Mom. She is not my girlfriend. She is just a course mate and intelligent too. But she hasn't made any medicine," Samuel explained with a calm voice as he stood with his mother in the kitchen.

"Mom, where's Dad?" Ruth asked as she walked up to the dining table to meet her mother."He went upstairs. You should go and call him," Stacey said as she set up the dinner around the table."Alright, Mom," Ruth replied happily as she darted back to the stairs and went to the top floor to call her father. Her loud voice resonated in the mansion."Dad, dinner is ready!" Ruth shouted, her voice echoing on the top floor. She was the baby of the house and very playful too.Meanwhile, Samuel took his seat on the chair, and his mother looked at him and smiled."Samuel, is everything alright?" She peered at him curiously."Of course, Mom. I am fine," he replied with a calm voice, and his mother assured him, "Don't worry. I will speak with your father later."Samuel gave a nod and waited for his father to join him for dinner. Meanwhile, Stacey walked out of the kitchen after she was done setting up dinner. She walked up to meet her husband and asked him, "Honey, aren't you being too harsh and judgmental on Samuel? I asked him why he helped the Roberts' family heiress, and he said that he just helped her because she is more intelligent than him and the one who scored the highest in his department.""And you believe him? This explains to you why you should warn him to stay away from that family. Mr. Henry Roberts has fine medicines, even if they don't work as actively as ours; they are still potent and sold at a cheaper rate. I have warned Samuel. If I get to find out that he is dating that Roberts' daughter, I will deal with her on my own.""Honey, you will not commit any crime. What will you do to her?" Stacey looked at her husband worriedly."That's left for me to do. Just warn Samuel not to disclose our business to other families. I am not stopping him from continuing his studies because he needs the cer

Stacey breathed out heavily and replied, "That's fine. You should stay away from Helen and don't have anything to do with her. I do not like her, and I will not approve of your affair with her. She is too chubby and will get old easily."Samuel's eyes widened in surprise as he picked up an apron to tie around his neck, but his mother stopped him."What are you trying to do? You just got back from the university, and you're tying the apron. Don't worry; I will make dinner alone," Stacey said, her hand reaching to stop Samuel from tying the apron."You should go and have your bath upstairs. I will make dinner alone," Stacey said, her voice soft, but Samuel shook his head and replied, "No, Mom. I want to help you. I want to learn how to cook so that I can cook for my wife in the future."Stacey's eyes widened in shock at Samuel's statement. She smiled and replied, "Alright. But definitely not that chubby girl from the Roberts family."Samuel smiled as his hands reached for the apron agai

"Dad, all that aside, where do we get the money to pay up the 50 million dollars that you lost, and who is the man that scammed you? You need to help the police with their investigation," Patrick said, as he had already hired two security men to stand by his father's hospital room door."You're right. I will give you all his information after I am done eating," Mr. Henry replied, while Patrick sighed with relief.Helen was famished, so she went to sit down on the chair that her mother had stood up from."Mom, why were brothers Paul, Zion, and Caleb mad at me when I arrived earlier?" Helen's heart softened under her mother's warm embrace. She hadn't expected that her father would automatically recover and even be able to talk and move his hands and legs on his own—something that he had not been able to do on his own before."Helen, do you have anything to say to the media? What university did you study with? Is it the well-known renowned University of Science in this city?" An interviewer asked, and Helen got to realize that it was because her father's company went bankrupt, and it was announced on the news that he was owing hundreds of workers' salaries. Not just that, some other hospitals that he was supposed to supply his medicine to, he failed to meet up with the supply. But now that he had been miraculously cured, they hoped that Helen would take over Roberts Pharmaceutical and distribute the medicine to other hospitals with other stroke victims too."Miss Helen! Can you share more insight on how you got this miraculous medicine? Who created it, and what ingr
