I rolled over in the bed, reaching out my arm towards Orion, but he wasn’t there. My hand searched farther but to no avail. I pried my eyes open, sleepily looking through my eyelashes. He really wasn’t there.I crawled to the edge of the bed, rubbing my eyes. The bathroom door was open, but no light.“Orion?” I called out to the empty room. There was no response.
