Chapter 27

Scarlett flashed her charming smile at Adrian before making her way into his apartment. He was still wondering how she got his address, but he went ahead to lock the door and join her in the living room.

“What are you doing here? And how did you get my address?” He asked again.

“Well, I had to use this pretty face of mine to get your address from the club. I was there earlier.” Scarlett answered, dropping her purse on the table and taking a seat. Adrian was standing in front of her, a gentle smile playing across his lips.

He was happy she was there, even though he was acting casual about it. He had been worried about her since the day she left with Ethan, and he was relieved that she was okay.

“Dad, I'm hungry.” Scarlett let out a low grunt. “I haven't eaten anything all day; I've been so busy.”

“What would you like to eat?” Adrian questioned me, walking into the kitchen. He was prepared to make her happy, but he didn't know why he was doing it.

“Pasta would be great,” Scarlett answ
