Chapter 4 Her Bold Betrayal

It was as if Ye Wanwan had had her soul torn out of her. She hugged her son's body tightly and refused to eat or drink.

She sat there for a whole day and night.

The next day, Bo Qing came to her in a hurry.

She lifted her expressionless face as a semi-hopeful thought flitted through her mind: perhaps Bo Qing had come to see their child as he was also so reluctant to part with him.

However, rather than gently joining her in her grief, he grabbed the body and threw it to one side, dragging her out of the ward by her wrist.

"Ye Wanwan, Ke'er's childbirth has resulted in acute leukemia, and she is now in urgent need of marrow. Qianqian is the most likely match by far. Let Qianqian donate it to her!"

"What did you say?!" Only after hearing her daughter's name did Ye Wanwan come back to her senses and stare at him in disbelief.

They had just lost a child, and he didn't seem to care about it at all. Now he was even asking her daughter to donate bone marrow to Ye Ke'er?!

Bo Qing did not see any problem in his behavior. "You killed our child and hurt Ke'er again and again. This time, I will give you a chance to make up for it!"

"No!" Ye Wanwan rejected him harshly without hesitation.

Qianqian was now lying in a sickbed; if she were to donate the marrow to Ye Ke'er, her fragile body would not be able to bear it!

She had already lost one child, if she lost Qianqian too it would be the end of her!

"Bo Qing, I won't let you hurt Qianqian! Ye Ke'er has framed me time and time again, and you expect me to get my daughter to give marrow to her?! She's still so young, and she's now in a coma! I won't agree. I'd rather die than do such a thing!" Ye Wanwan clenched her fists and roared with blood-red eyes.

"Ye Wanwan, you're really good at twisting the facts in your favor! I saw everything with my own eyes. It is you who has always been deliberately hurting Ke'er!" There was a noticeable hint of impatience in his voice, and he sounded as if he was trying his best to suppress his anger. "If it weren't for you, Ke'er wouldn't have been nearly raped... and you almost made her miscarry several times!"

"I didn't! It was Ye Ke'er who framed me!" Ye Wanwan grabbed his collar and shouted desperately, "Bo Qing, I swear to you, Qianqian is your biological daughter. Getting her to donate marrow to Ye Ke'er will be the death of her!"

"Biological daughter? Ha!" Bo Qing gave a short, bitter laugh. "Ye Wanwan, you know as well as I do that we always used protection, not to mention that I saw you sleeping with another man with my own eyes. Stop with this pathetic charade. You're no saint."

"I didn't!" Ye Wanwan couldn't bear it any longer and argued loudly, "Bo Qing, you are the only man I have ever been with!"

Ye Ke'er had indeed taken a video of her being pressed down on the bed by another man, but it had all been staged by Ye Ke'er. Also, she had struggled so desperately that she had protected herself from being raped.

She had tried to explain this to Bo Qing many times, but he did not trust her at all.

He only believed his Ke'er...

Bo Qing sneered as he sized her up with an even colder gaze. "If a whore told you she had only one man, would you believe her? Ye Wanwan, Bo Qianqian is going to donate marrow to Ke'er. I'm simply here to notify you as a courtesy, not to ask for your consent!"

As Bo Qing spoke, he picked up the limp and pallid body of Bo Qianqian from the sickbed and strode out of the ward decisively.

"Bo Qing, stop! Give Qianqian back to me!" Ye Wanwan was desperate to get her daughter back, but she fell to the ground awkwardly as she lifted her leg.

A large, gruesome patch of blood had dyed her lower body red. She could not get up.

Ye Wanwan was going mad with anxiety and shouting in desperation, "Bo Qing, Qianqian is your daughter. How can you be so cruel!? Even if you don't believe me, she is only a little child. How could you be so ruthless to her!"

Hearing Ye Wanwan's heart-wrenching screams, Bo Qing felt a genuine pain in his chest. He realized that his heart was still aching for the woman who had betrayed him, and the idea of his inability to control his emotions frustrated him.

Indeed, he was afraid that she would be devastated, and thus he had even shown consideration for the life and death of that illegitimate child.

He had gone to the doctor and confirmed that, given her current situation, Bo Qianqian would be fine after she donated marrow to Ye Ke'er, and only then had he put forward the idea.

Bo Qing cursed himself in his heart. "I've always been too tolerant of Ye Wanwan, and that's why she ended up betraying me!"
