"I never wanted to be a part of this," I heard the seeming irritation in his voice. His earlier blue eyes were back to normal and I could clearly see how bitter his stare was. He stopped his meal as if he had lost his appetite because of our conversation. The clenching of his left fist did not escape my sight either.

"I... I don't know what to say," there was a hint of defeat in my voice, and I just averted my gaze since I didn't know what to say to him. I had no idea what the Goddess of the Moon was up to, and I didn't understand her either.

"Don't you have any alcohol in this freaking world?" he asked irritably, and I shifted my gaze to him. I could see conflicting emotions in him, but the annoyance was obvious. Yes! We have alcohol in this world, we also have the right to drink because not only mortals face problems in life.

"You don't have to bother looking any longer," I responded hurriedly, and he frowned at me. I wasted no time and instantly stood up, lifted the fabric covering
